I think the last time you were on, I was still at school lol. Did well in my History A-Level, surprisingly got an A for my Falklands War coursework, which was both a first in terms of it being my first piece of History coursework to be higher than a C and also it shut my teacher up who didn't think I'd do that well in the coursework as it lacked "direction".

Most people seem to posting here less and tbh I think I'm slowly moving away from here.

You prove that prof. wrong!! So, wutchya doin then, now tht ur outa school? Ever apply for any here in the US? How's ur op-ed writing and stuff going? I havent read a DGMS article in forever!! Ive been missin out havnt i? OMG u besta not be movin outa here, not now that im back!! Oh hey! I ended up finishing my thesis, a whoppin 170 pages i believe, ended up winning 3rd place overall and i graduated undergrad with highest honors in history!

I'm outa school living off the state (which I hate) looking for a job with not a lot of luck but then again I may just have high standards lol. The USA is a possibility should I decide not to go to Uni in Portsmouth next year, I'm thinking of New Jersey atm and I love most American accents so it should be fun.

I'll bring my thread back up so you can read some of the previous article's I've written.

Congratulations, 170 pages I'd be dead by the time I'd have finished that and coming in 3rd, shame it's not an Olympic event lol.

Hey Audouc!! Hows the family? And your grandson? I missed the precious stories of your weekends...how old is he now? Omg i sound like those like really old foggies that like pinch cheeks and stuff! Haha.. oh you better believe im ready for another snowball fight...we'll start drawin our lines...umm.. after Thanksgiving... OMG do u guys have Thanksgiving? I didnt even realize that you prob. dont! But uh.. happy b-lated Guy Fowks day.. i prob. spelled tht wrong but w/e!

I'm sorry I've been MIA for like eva, but student teaching, several illnesses and wedding planning frustrations... sigh.... but im here!! Ive been keeping up with the games and all, but am sorely dissappointed at the fact that ESPN lost Champions League coverage rights, cuz Fox Soccer Channel has some horrific commentators! But I'll take what i can get! Im ready for the Chelsea game also, with a sister whose a Chelsea fan, not tht she knows wut shes talkin bout, but w/e... i hope its not a repeat of our Lvpl game, my fiance will neva let me live that one down... But anywayz... how are all u guys?!!?! Wuts new?? Hangin in there I hope?!! Anyone here from Cris? Last i was on, we hadnt heard from him in foreva! OMG! I missed HALLOWEEN!! Any interesting costume match-ups?? I think Brandy as Robin Hood and me as Maid Marion was def. the best!! How is Brandy, hear from him? Oh man! I'm not so certain about that, but I hope you're right. I'm watching the game with my dad who's a Chelsea supporter and it's gonna be quite a battle in home

Yes 1 point was much better than zero point but still we should have played a lot better to be fair Gray Nevile failed to influence his players and rightly so because a player that find it very hard to cement his place in first team squad and then handing him captaincy arm band I don’t think it is fair with him,  when we replaced Nani with Rooney and shifted Macheda to right midfield area I said to myself come on Sir Alex he is useless there please Bring G.obertan  because this is his natural place and somehow he listened to me and brought him and he played some football this boy is amazing he can Cross and also can run in to tight spaces and with some dribbles …so over all satisfied with makeshift t squad

 

3-3. Not great, but good enough for me. And the game was slightly boring, except for the last 15 minutes. But we got 1 point which is as good as it gets, since the russians were playing a lot better most of the game

Well, yes Valencia is not Ronaldo, but I don't even think he's like Beckham either. More like a young Giggs, but only time will tell. And there's time for Valencia and Obertan to improve. I think by the end of the season we'll see a lot more of them. By the way, what amazes me is how quick is Obertan. Have any of you noticed or is it just my imagination?

Jie I’m really sorry you had to watch the game from distance because of work as you know  for jobs you have to sacrifice sometimes if not always, as you have rightly said Valencia did play very well but he is not Ronaldo yes he can cross and can also score but he needs someone from deep to run in to tight spaces  and open the up the defenders so he can  find vacant areas for the crosses because he does struggle sometime to  take on two defenders  in one time and O’shea is that  not sort of the player who can fill the gap because he is  more of the traditional defender whom priority is more of the defending than attacking if I could put in short term Vlencia  is more of  David Beckham  and needs player Like Gary Nevile of late 90s , sorry to say Nani doesn’t belong here because his decision making are nightmares football  is like mathematics you have to count everything on the patch like  playing one, two or quick passing and also running in to free spaces he is neither doing one of them, last night Obertan did miss two great chances of scoring goals but these chances were created by him and were very simple chances he didn’t have to cross he only had to be in right place and he was there….

Nani didn't screw up, he just doesn't impress enough. He will face stiff competition to keep his place from Obertan

I am happy that Carragher got sent off at Fulham. He thoroughly deserves it. He must have thought that he can get away with it everytime, like what he did to Owen. Time for Lyon to add salt to Liverpool's wound

I think it might be some sort of strategy to let Liverpool win, cause nobody wants to see them sink so deep and also if they weren't in our way to the top it won't be Premier league

We got our 3 points from Blackburn, which was great and especially with those two fantastic goals (Even I was impressed by Berbatov's goal). I couldn't watch closely the game, cause I was at work but for what I saw Valencia was playing great and Nani screw up again
