    Re: ROONEY, ROONEY, ROONEY!

i can see why people are angry at him because we as fans think that the only way is down for players once they leave Old Trafford. saying that, i don't see why all he has done and won for the club should just go out of the window, he hasn't left yet, he may still play again for us and if he does go he may go abroad which wouldn't bother me too much

From the banks of the Irwell
    To Sicily
And we will fight fight fight
    For Man United FC

Re: Imagine Rooney Playing For Man City :/

It will be the biggest betrayal in the history. Rooney was meant to be for United for the rest of his career. He was our star player. Its his loss if he goes. I guarantee he will regret leaving United..

    ROONEY, ROONEY, ROONEY!

I support him what ever he decides to do, he served long for us the fans and United the team. He was loyal and worked 100%, that in itself shows there is something going on between his wife that is making him leave, United, and possible moving to a new country. His  Wife was his childhood l0ver him and her loved each other longer than probably most of us loved united. It's a big deal for him and can't imagine what hes going through. Roo 4 life. Big respect. Thankyou Rooney for your service.

Re: It is Official...Rooney Is Leaving....

Too make it clear. With no same quality/level replacement for Rooney. Our strikerforce is not good enough...to be 100 sure to get top 4 this year. Sir Alex and the club has to bring same calibre. If not, i think and feel. Our striker force is not good enough. With Only Bernatov, Hernandez, Owen and Macheda. We have to catch the top 4 spot. If not, With Giggs and Scholes retire soon and Rooney out. No same quality replacement for Rooney....then i think we will end up as Liverpool. We have to bring on the top striker in Adebayor.....if not.....i hope the Glazer family leave in January too. If they do love and care about the club. The Glazer have to give money to replace same quality striker. If no money to buying top quality striker and players after big money selling of Ronaldo and Rooney. Then we will see the clear purpose of the Glazer family with our club = no true passion love.....just money.

Forget the Rooney sake for a while now, let us continue to support our club and see what happened in the late December and January.

Re: It is Official...Rooney Is Leaving....

Rooney wants to leave so be it, I don't want to see an ungrateful player on the team. With Manchester United he won multiple trophies and as a player he grew into a superstar. Sell him and bring in players who want to play and have the passion to play for Manchester United. At the end of the day I highly doubt rooney will ever have the same goal scoring season as last year. If he doesn't care for his actions well so be it, sell him and get the show on the road because Manchester United won't go down only rooney will.

I just dont get why Rooney wants to leave??????? Until he says it Im not 100% sure. He loves football, hes not the type who wants money and will go to City or Real Madrid. Why? Someone tell me??????? Why? United is the best club, he knows it. Whats the point of leaving for City or going to Spain. Angry Im shocked. But United will never die!

    WRainey Jr.:

Real Manchester United fans should not be too down, simply because Sir Alex, the staffs and the players have known about this Rooney issue since the start of the season... the press and media only just knew about this... again, the United family has known about this for the past 3 months... no worries or disharmony in the dressing room, so lets just focus on the future.

Not sure about this.SAF looked realy shocked and sad in the press conference. If everyone knew about Rooney leaving that would bring disharmony in the dressing room, nobody likes to see the best player leaving.I'm so confused....

If they are good enough they are old enough
If you don't put them in you can't know what you've got

     Wow!

Guys , it is a sad day.

But SAF is the man we trust! It's a pity because we will not get alot of money for Wayne Rooney.

But *** him , he has stabbed us in the back...Knowing since the World Cup that he is not signing for United , that ***!

Why won't we get a lot of money for Rooney?

Didn't believe the rumors till I saw the transcript of that Interview with SAF.

I can't even get mad, Im just incredibly dissapointed in him.

The sooner he leaves the better. I trust SAF to take us out of this mess and move on.

I don't care where he goes as long as we get a decent return, Ive lost all respect for him.

Disappointed at Wayne Rooney, pleased United did offer him a contract. What more could you want than play for one of the greatest club in the world. What could be his reason, at least Ronaldo's reason was Real Madrid was his boyhood club, but this is ridculous.

IF he goes to City, he surely is lost.

Close the door on your way out Wayne, life goes on and we will forget you sooner than you may think. Although I fear for you - there is something hollow inside you and your career is on a downward spiral from here. You will never recover from this decision. Manchester United most certainly will. Let's go after Torres/Connor Wickham/Jack Rodwell now!

Re: It is Official...Rooney Is Leaving....

He was supported by the fans all the way through the tough times, we stuck up for him when the rest of the country were blaming him for England's poor world cup, we sang his name, so many children and adults, wearing Rooney's name on their United shirt but none of this means anything to him.

I guess he is an unemotional, money grabbing fool and has chose money over loyalty and respect.
