Re: rooney to issue a statement this afternoon

I dont understand this statement at all . Rooney is in no position to dictate what we should do in the transfer market . He is dreaming if he thinks we are going to run the club the way he wants . He says he has a lot of respect for SAF and then says he is leaving because of his transfer policy . How many times have you heard a player say that he wants to leave one of the biggest clubs in the world because the team is not buying star players . If I hadn't known better , I'd be inclined think this is some hoaz by Pineapple Hero .

Of coures now the debate will be........do you believe his reasons or is he trying to cover himself by saying some things that will play well with the press and many fans?

My posts get reported because I am so much more intelligent than the reporters and they can not deal with it

Re: Rooney's statement - your thoughts

even tho it wud look petulant id bench him from now untill he goes, he wants to go fine life moves on start from now and dont play him again, let him go to his new team lacking match practice and hopefully overweight, id start working in a new strikeforce, Berbatov has started tolook good this season and hopefully will continue to grow in confidence now that he will be the main striker for Utd, Hernandez has looked promising or maybe its time to give Kiko an extended run in the team

p.s. saw a nice story on teletext Benzema+Diarra+20 mill for greedy scouse git-----YES PLZ!

    @z:

Fair enough, he gave his statement, he's going to go so United move on.

Best way to show we don't need him is by starting off with a win tonight and take it from their. We have players who have the ability to step up when needed, no player is bigger than United.

Thats just a pointless throw-away comment, we clearly don't have the players. Look at tonights line-up, Park Gibson Oshea, you think those players would get into the Barca or Madrid squads?

for me every big club rooney goes to he will be a bench warmer e.g

    chelsea drogba will play

madrid higuin will play as they play 1 up front

barca villa will play as they play on up top

and iff he goes to spain he wont be as good as he is in england as his style of play is very different.

HE IS A THROUGH AND THROUGH ENGLISH PLAYER SO GOOD LUCK TO HIM!

Re: Rooney's statement - your thoughts

I think the whole situation is sad. I have never been too sure about my opinion of the Glazers, too many people have just jumped on the bandwagon of the green and gold campaign without really asking themselves if it is whats best for the club. But i can now honestly say that unless the the Yanks go, Rooney wont be the first to want out. Hopefully this statement will kickstart the downfall of the Glazers.

Fair enough, he gave his statement and it was a valid point he made, I do fear United aren't going to be attractive enough for the top players now, but he's going to go so United move on.

Oh I bloody knew it...Hell, most fans probably did. Wouldn't be surprised if some of our other best players begin to *** off due to the same reason in the next two years. I feel like *** now...

I cant believe I judged the guy so wrong. Unloyal scouse prat, instead of helping us back to the top he wants to run away like a coward.
