Re: Scholes Confirms His Wish To Retire

Nothing about it yet on the major outlets such as BBC Sport, Sky Sports on manutd.com about this.  It won't shock me if it turns out to be true but until it's confirmed by a reputable source I'll cling onto the hope he's going to play one more year!

If it does not matter who wins or loses then why do they bother to keep score?

I'll miss Paul. He's United through and through, his vicious tackles aswell. Best of luck in the future.

Scholes Confirms His Wish To Retire

I think we all knew it was coming, but it is still a very saddening piece of news for me personally. A true legend of the game, he will be sorely missed, but the time had probably come. He wasn't able to force his way into the team, and his best days were definitely behind him. ‎"Scholes is undoubtedly the best player of his generation" - Zinedine Zidane "An amazingly gifted player..." - Roy Keane " He epitomises the spirit of Manchester United and everything that is good about football" - Sir Bobby Charlton http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=1&sqi=2&ved=0CCcQqQIwAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.express.co.uk%2Fposts%2Fview%2F249696%2FPaul-Scholes-is-packing-his-bags&ei=Z1bjTbnmBtG3hAeix-TpBw&usg=AFQjCNEBppRZ3j3xhQvaI71C8mIugjYjAg
