As much as Wimpy999 is making disgraceful comments, the others slating Berba are equally disgraceful. The man tried hard today. He played as much midfield as striker. Watch the bloody game again on tape. Seriously... people are clueless. They think football is just tap in for easy goals and the game gets organized by themselves. For all the people slating Berba, did anyone notice Berba marking Showcross at every set piece. Great marking... Enough said. Owen is trying but not having much luck. Some terrible bounces off his leg and he missed that great sitter in which he did not make contact. I think in pre-season in Chicago, Welbeck and Berba played together and they played well. Should have kept him on.

I agree! Tensions running high here. Either way we have not played well. This isnt a Berba issue! This is about a team where the midfield has been non existent and our overall play has been poor. 

I dont know why people feel the need to comment like they were not watching the game all int the name of trying to bash a player. Wellbeck and Giggs are on now and still nothing fantastic is happening. so....

Why blame them? The attack can't function if there's no good link up play from midfield. Our defense gets exposed waaay too often, and how do you expect our forwards to dominate an entire game?

my opinion is that both berba and young should have stayed on the pitch - yeah berba is slow but at least is giving good passes. now since the changes no one is building the attacks i think.. still my hopes are high. we need a miracle and we can do that.
