    Re: MIDFIELD!!

TheGreatDane - We had one midfielder who fitted your description perfectly, but what happened when he finally regained his fitness? That's right - we let him go. And where is he now? at Man City lol

    The morning after.

As a loyal fan for 20 years, i goto say sundays match was just wow, am still in shock, how badly did we play, tbh a league 2 team would of beat us, we had no passion no drive we looked static, I know one thing fore sure if Roy keane was playing in that match he would of kicked off big time, roo was about to go crazy, we didnt look like we wanted to win.

but i goto say its been coming to meny games we glossed over by winning 1 - 0 or 2 - 1 and staying we had to fight for the win, the truth is we was poor and we got lucky, and now the luck as run out, but i see the loss as a good thing, we needed this, it hurts like hell for sure, but now it will force people to look in the mirror and make SAF look at some of the players and ring the changes, but who really have we got to replace them ?

    Ferdinand out -  Jones in

    Anderson out -

    Carrick out -

    Fletcher out-

The truth is theres no one, Pogba is looking on the money but still 12 months out, and the truth is we just don't have the money to go out and buy the players we need, were looking to buy youth not first team players as we just dont have the money, i wont name players but we need at least 3 new midfielders and we need someone like roy keane we never replaced him, and we need someone with pace and can pick a pass, someone who can open people up, Cleverley is looking good as well we need him back and fit asap

As man utd fans its time to take the rose tinted glasses off and wake up to the fact, were not gonna win anything if we dont replace the big players with big players

    Re: City's 4th goal...

Ferdinand passed the ball backwards to De Gea but the kick was wayward and De Gea couldn't get to it.

Re: are you EMBARRESSED i am

For the first time ever yesterday I took my Man Utd jersey off as soon as the match was over. I've never done that even for the Barca finals, but yesterday I feared the ridicule from rival fans because I knew I didn't have any come backs to defend myself with.
    I don't lol

    Re: MIDFIELD!!

MY choice for a midfielder would be Sotiris Ninis from Panathanaikos. 21 Years old and is already the captain, he mainly operates as an attacking midfielder but can play on the wings when necissary. He has great passing and vision, formidable dribbling skills and pace, a great long range strike. He's more reallistic than Goetze or Hazard, and probably less pricey too. I would very much like to see him in a United shirt one day :D

Cleverly and fletcher is a good midfield pair but its not enough. maybe morrison and pogba need to go on loan in prem leauge just like cleverly it did him the world of good but you have to be good enough to get a game which he was

yes our main problem is MIDFIELD... look spurs modric , vdv and parker are better than any midfield we have..wenger find right replace for nasri by buying gervinho..fergie must buy 1 or 2 midfield... last 3 season.. all fan and all papers talk abt this...fergie still stubborn tu buy someone there.. if dnt buy pls give youngster a chance.. hope POGBA and morrison get the chance..

    alan j:
IF I WAS S.A.F I WOULD TELL THE PLAYERS WHO THINK THEY ARE PLAYING ON TUESDAY SORRY GUY'S YOUR NOT UP ,IT'S THAT LOT FROM SUNDAY THEY NEED TO GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER. THEN FIND A COACH COMPANY THAT DOES SCHOOL RUN'S ASK THEM FOR THE ONE THAT IS MORE WORSE FOR WEAR THAN THE OTHER'S. THEY WON'T NEED IT AS IT'S HALF TERM . TAKE ONLY THE PLAYER'S THAT GOT ON THE PITCH ON SUNDAY ( NO MORE THAN THAT )IF ANY OF THEM SAY THEY HAVE GOT A KNOCK OR A PULL TELL THEM TO GET ON WITH IT YOUR UP . FOR THE PRE MATCH MEAL STOP AT A TRANSPORT CAFE . SO THEY WOULD FEEL AS EMBARRESSED AS I AM RIGHT NOW . THAT WAS PATHETIC YESTERDAY IN 56 YEAR'S OF WATCHING UNITED THAT WAS BY FAR THE WORST PERFORMANCE I HAVE SEEN AT OLD TRAFFORD & I THOUGHT I HAD SEEN SOME BEFORE. YOU CAN NOT BLAME IT ON EVANS GETTING SENT OFF IT WAS ALL OF THEM .
What? As Bad as the day under Wilf McGuinness we got beat 4-1 by Southampton and the United got booed and slow hand clapped by most of the crowd - including the Stretford End throughout the second half? How about the day when I myself left Old Trafford earlt - when we got done 3-0 by Liverpool and they spent the second half just passing the ball around and we chased shadows - I left because I couldn't listen to the taunting scousers any more - Nope far worse than that especially the early 70s -- try Boro at home in the Cup - we were outclassed and outplayed for 89 minutes

    City's 4th goal...

I wasnt at the game yesterday, and the TV cameras missed what happened...

It was a United goal kick, the cameras turned away, and when it returned it showed De Dea chasing in vain to prevent a corner.... from which City scored their 4th goal.

    What happened?

    Re: MIDFIELD!!

You need someone who is defensively competent in your midfield aswell. Sneijder nor Cleverley is that. You want two players that compensate each other, a nice blend of Carrick as a defensively minded CM and Cleverley as the creator or to use another fancy word, the "Maestro" the one to pass the ball right on the money to setup a dashing Rooney who can then poke it the few yards into goal or to a Chicha who is right on the spot. No need for Sneijder to be honest. We need a healthy Cleverley and a more confident and cool-headed defensive core (basically we need Vidic back)

    Re: wake up

I agree that Fergie is to blame , He keep on making poor decisions on line ups , subs ,formation. And with all his experience we can't except continuous error from him

    MIDFIELD!!

united need to sign sneijder in january.sneijder and tom will be a great partnership.United midfield is lack of creativity right now.We need tom back asap, and sir alex desperetley needs to get sneijder in january. That why city beat us today, wayne rooney had too much too do in midfield, and as a striker. If you look at the city midfield, they have real creative players, silva, nasri,.with sniejder and tom in the middle, and young and nani on the wings and we can only team with ease.Sneijder and rooney....rooney will score goals for fun!Right now sir alex dosent have a choice but to get wes in january, after that embarrising defeat by city.fergie gets him,and we will have 2 scholes in the middle. The midfield needs help.Fergie will no doubt no what he will have to do.
