 Over my time on this forum i have been called a PLASTIC and a MUPPET  for critising Anderson saying hes not good enough to play for man utd and today showed why he cant keep the ball  cant takle  no positioning sense and almost every he does is half hearted it it so does anyone agree or disagree with me about ando now ???

 Anderson has and always will be a poor player. I guess the lack of funds means we have to stick with him V_V

his passing was atrocious today.

His passing has been atrocious ever since Cleverley got injured, I guess Cleverley was opening up lanes for Anderson to pass.

hes played with better Midfielders than clev and been equally as bad...Roy keane left yet Paul scholes was still excellent

Chronic fan. Spot on. Why is he getting blamed for all the ills? Some people think Fletcher is the saviour. He cannot even play football. Just because a couple of seasons back he hacked at the Arsenal midfield and Wenger complained people think he is great. He is worse than Anderson. He has no ball control, he cannot tackle, he loses possession much easily and most importantly he cannot sprint. He has no pace. All the opposing player needs to do is push or dribble past him and Fletcher would not catch him. Park is a player who tries very hard but he cannot play in the centre all by himself as he loses possession too easily and falls too easily. He is good to mark some player but that is all. Anderson is the best we have got. He was brilliant when he played with Hargreaves. He was very good with Cleverly. I do not know what Fergie sees in Fletcher. Maybe because he is Scottish. Anderson tried all alone to stem the flow of the midfield. You could see his face when they scored their second goal. He looked around desperately as he had to deal with Silva and Milner all by himself. Where was Evra? Where was Young?

Everybody that played that match should get a hairdryer treatment from SAF. They all performed very bad in general, and I won't agree it's just Anderson's fault. Our defence was in shambles and Ferdinand and Evra moved far too forward at the final minutes, letting the opponent scored 3 easy goals. Defence seriously need to be improved or we will keep on conceding unnecessary goals.

If Carrick had started in this game and with this result, I think more people here would have slated and blamed him, even more than Anderson. I don't know, but Carrick might have do well in holding possession for us if he played this game, just my thought. Anyway, United needs to bounce back fast.

I don't agree that he's a bad player, I think he will improve, but one thing I do agree with is that you hit the nail on the head when you said everything he does is half hearted. To me he just seems lazy and as if he doesn't care for United. Would love to see how differently he would be playing for Brasil if he got taken to the World Cup.

i jus cant understand sum ppl...the goals came when anderson was subbed off....for the ppl bashin anderson they need to look at the damn game again.....4 or 5 of city goals came from evra's side buh no one is sayin nothin about that...nani was poor, young was poor and nun for this...in the first half most if not all of our attacks came from anderson...i dont hear the FAKE manu fans blamin other players buh yet u want to pick on a guy who wen was subbed off thats wen the goals came.....if this is how we treat our united players its a shame.... in this time wen they need us we arent here..... And its the same bloody fans who will at the end of season say anderson is awesome....... to all TRUE manu fans lets support our players in this time..... cuz we need revenge...

Sorry to disagree, but sell Anderson, buy Xavi and pair him with the jogger- fletcher against this same CITY team and you would still get the same result or even worse. I'm sure you won't understand why it should be so, maybe when you grow up.

The questions you guys should ask is: 1) why was ando playing well when he played with Hargreaves? 2) why doesn't he always play well when playing alongside fletcher? 3) Why was he playing well alongside cleverley?

Ando can never be the problem of our midfield. Infact, our midfield is the problem of Ando if you ask me. People complain that he has not improved since joining us, yes, how can any decent player improve in MF when fletcher and Carrick is their partner for more than 80% of their games. Just how? People love to talk about Barca- they have a quintet in almost all their games running the MF show (messi, xavi, iniesta, buisquests) with a host of other very skillful players augmenting their efforts. But can you name a consistent MF two in the United team? And you expect team understanding and chemistry in MF?

Even man city has consistent MF players (de jong, toure yaya, silva). But here at united, even Jones plays in MF with Fletcher at anfailed, and the next game you expect Ando to perform miracles.

Yesterday, Ando was the only player trying to hold the midfield together while fletcher was busy running all over the place. There are so many thing a midfielder has to do in modern football than just running around. T

He started off so well this season,but it seems like he has gone back to square one again.I hope he realises the importance of this season in his carrer...well,as a manchester united player anyways.....the manager wont wait forever for him to come good.If he doesnt impress this year,then he could be off next summer.I really hope he starts his season again.....

I never liked Ando I've said it before several times. He's hot and cold, and it's mostly freezing. He's hot against teams like Wigan or a depleted Arsenal team, but in Champions League and teams like Chelsea and City he's awful, when we need him most. He's had plenty of time to impress and he just hasn't. I'm sure we could get 20-25 pounds for him now if not more if a team is really desparate. He's hot headed at wrong times, where players like Keane were hot headed at the right time an it would fire up the team, when Ando is hot headed it just looks immature. His skill is good/average at best. I wouldn't put him in the top 20-30 in the world at his position, where United should have someone in midfield between 5 or 10 best player in the world. That's United quality, not Ando or Carrick. Park brings a spark and will run for days, but skill wise again not 20-30 best in the position. Park does show up in big games so I'm surprised he didn't start. Ando was never my favorite player and I never thought he was United quality, but it was a team lose, nothing more nothing less, we lost as a team.

I have been saying for a long, long time that our midfield should be torn apart and rebuilt...two top class players needed...not one.  Perhaps all the idiots who slated me can actually see that now.  

not sure i agree anderson has gona backwards, he has improved, but he still so far away from being good enough it stupid.

i agree we need to center mids and hopefully Fletcher will return to his form of 2 years ago, and cleverly will progress to become the player we all dream he can be.

Another reason I don't understand about blaming Anderson.. he got taken off WAY before the humiliation
