    Re: Lay off Johnny Evans!

johnny made a mistake and on a whole he has played well but last week at anfield he stayed on his feet when suarez went through on goal and forced the error yesterday dived in on the first goal and pulled back mario when he was through on goal let him get goal side should give jones and smalling a go at aldershot 2morrow see how they get on in centre i dont think it helps when you play a centreback at rb shame we cant keep fabio an rafael fit always seem to get injured we badley need a holding midfielder and an attacking midfielder rooney is coming too deep to collect ball hamsik from napoli or sneijder scholes in his hay day would create and get 10-15 goals in a season david silva already has 3 goals in 9games and six assists so far anderson has2 goals in 8 and one assist and is wastefull in posession every time that little silva gezzer gets ball you always think somethink is gonna happen shame we couldnt get the kid in a red red shirt gutted

Lets not lay off Evans, hes *** and wouldnt get into most premier league squads! Forget Vidic, Jones should have started not this ability lacking reserve team player
LMFAO! You probably said the same thing when Vidic was sh!t against torres. It's funny how Evans is getting blamed for the loss yesterday. He left the match at 1-0. the match ended 6-1. Did Evans fack up on those other goals?

    Im Sublime

    Re: Lay off Johnny Evans!

I think Fergie was right to start Evans ahead of Vidic.Vidic lacks match fitness and after the red card in Romania i think it was the best thing to leave Vidic out.

And then Evans had been in good form this season playing alonside Smalling. The problem is with Ferdinand who looks like past his best these days. But his experience remains vital

We should stop playing our CB out of position.Smalling is better at CB.

    JOHN HONG:

    @ Barry Bannan

I think I shall stop this stupid and time wasting debate of foreign United fans. It is pretty obvious that your club runs on money that have been raised by the 300 million foreign fans worldwide. Rooney gets paid 250k p/wk for a reason, because Manchester United is rich thanks to foreign fans. Whether the fans support Manchester United for the glory, or for whatever reason, they are still a supporter. They pay everything for the club, so you have no whatever right to call them a glory hunter or whatever (but I guess some idiots just dont understand this)

Back top the topic, I dont blame Evans entirely for the loss yesterday. If anything, Evra has to be blamed 50% for the goals. I have stated at the start of the season, even after the Arsenal game, that the left side of our defense, particularly Evans and Evra, are a disaster in the long run. Guess what, I predicted right again. I have been watching Evans closely for the past 3 seasons. He has only one good performance that was brilliant and at the same time without stupid errors, yes only 1 game, that was against Liverpool FA cup 3rd round. The others I dont need to elaborate because he is simply just a mediocre defender or even worse. At least I earn deserved money through working, Jonny Evans still earns like 50k p/wk for those ***performances? If I had the choice I rather be poor and never choose to be Jonny Evans. So what if he is from the United academy? Eagles, Gibson all had immerse potential and look where they are now. As if United has produced any world beaters in the last 10 years...

Same here, I'm not going to waste my time arguing with idiots who still give excuses about Evans or any other player that played so badly yesterday. Take it or leave it. Evans is never going to be good enough unless one day he keep 10 clean sheets in a row on his own like Vidic/Ferdinand three seasons ago and send us back to top of Europe. Until then, probably people will change their view of Evans, but we all know this is just a dream..

Please don't blame Evra, he was just trying to help the team to get back into the game after being behind by goals and one man down. He went for the attack, up and down the field, thats why he was exhasuted. He was the captain, and to see United lose to City at Old Trafford is hard to take, and as the captain of the team, I could understand Evra's frustration. The game was over as soon as Evans got sent off, and Manutd will never give up, thats why they keep playing, even if one man down, even if until the last minute of the whistle, because we are United!

    Re: Lay off Johnny Evans!

Yeah sure he has to play when the manager picks him I agree. I think that like you said Johnny Evans is a good prospect, but he has been brought into the first team too early. He has been found wanting on a number of occasions, I hope SAF realises this and lets him maybe play in the reserves for a while. I think it was the wrong line up against a good side like City, I know I hate to have to say it but unfortunately it's true. If fit I think Vicitch and Jones should have started in defence, and I think that the rest looked like a strong enough line up to have got all three points. Anderson, Nani and Evens just had a very bad day at the office. And after the stick Reo took after the last couple of games, I think he played well yesterday. But as far as the sending off goes, the ref got that one spot on, Johnny got the wrong side and then brought the player down, he should have let him go, we have a great keeper who specialises in fantastic saves. But we would have still had eleven players on the field and been in with a chance of winning the game. As soon as he made the foul I turned to my sons and said "that's it we've lost it now".

tell me where's the spirit and mentality then?

I'm not talking about him, i'm talking about the very small minority of foreign fans that actually like the club for what it is, not just the first team.

You aren't one of them, nor is he. You're just the kind of person that supports (i use the word support loosely as i've never seen one positive thing from you) the winning team - as shown by your admission for liking Real and every big team from other countries.

I'm not going to argue with you any more. If you think you have the same passion for United as others then so be it.

In reality you're just a bit of a cu/nt, whose life must be really shite if you have to "support" so many of the winning teams just to make you feel better.

As for me, I'll back Jonny to the hills as hes a youth product with immense potential and if he eradicates his rash tackles he'll be one of the best in the league. Hes done more in his life than you ever will in yours.

To thank them for pumping money in. Nothing more.

Modern football is very different from traditional ones, it is all about money nowadays. You mean you cant see that? Well u must seriously be an idiot then

    Barry Bannan:
If United were a midtable team you wouldn't be here, enough said. There are some foreigners that adopt the United spirit, mentality, and like United for more than just the glory- you aren't one of them.

If United were a mid-table team, it would probably just have a few thousand fans from your little England district, dont even need to talk about foreign base or whatever. Manchester United spirit? You mean what? I have a friend who have supported United thick and thin for the past 25 years, yesterday after we were 3-0 down he immediately shut the TV and gave up, tell me where's the spirit and mentality then?

    Barry Bannan:
But you're not good enough to play for United, so why exactly do you have a right to critisize him? Because you managed to turn on your TV and pick the winning team? BIG WELL DONE!

OPEN YOUR EYES. WHERE THE HELL DID I EVER SAY I AM GOOD ENOUGH TO PLAY FOR UNITED?? That aside, you do know that you are currently in a MANCHESTER UNITED FORUM DONT YOU? Where's the free speech and freedom that Western countries have been promoting all these years??? So based on your logic, what exactly do you have a right to restrict what I should say and what I dont? Fail, you just contradicted yourself

Oh and another thing, why aren't you pointing out Rio and Evra who put in far worse overall performances than Jonny.

If we had Vidic for Rio and Citys fullbacks we'd have won that game by miles.

    1. He is lousy in the air.
Jones has 53 percent aerial duel success this season.Smalling 56.While Evans better than both i.e 64.Also higher than Ferdinand. He has been our best defender aerially this season.FAIL.
    Muppet Meister:
    3. He can't read the game.
He is our best reader of the game after Ferdinand. There is no arguing that.FAIL. He is also our best defender in terms of passing.

even if you do ever make it to Old Trafford you'll be one of those Chinese picture taking fans that don't know the songs and contribute to the terrible atmosphere United now has.

    Barry Bannan:
The only people that have ever backed you up

I dont need people to back me up because what I am saying is the truth that is happening to United right now (People just agree on what I say because I speak sense unlike certain people), unlike certain idiots who claim that they are the best supporters of the team, but who still say Jonny Evans is this good that good, the team is so brilliant even after a thrashing by City

    Barry Bannan:
they just watched United for the glory

Too bad United need 300 million fans worldwide to watch its glory, if not how do you expect your team to pay your players 250 p/wk?

That aside, probably u really have nothing say and write so u cant continue your argument, and have to write all these ***. Too bad Jonny Evans - one of the worst defenders to put on a United shirt in the past 10 years, if not the worst. Too bad when Fergie had a choice between Pique, Shawcross and Evans, he chose Evans and let the rest leave. Now he must be thinking why the *** did he made that decision

And you can continue hoping your beloved Barry Bannan to save the United midfield. As much as I hate to say, I really would like us to sign any midfielder at the moment that we are linked to, be it Bannan or Gotze or Montolivo or anyone, because any of them is better than that hopeless midfield we have right now
