man utd 1 man city 0

i strongly think we can scrap a lucky win against city..i mean many people will think am being dillusional, but just think for a moment we can make a dramatic turn!!! if we are that bad i dont think we could beat a team 5 nil>> fulham, who held some strong team just a couple of weeks ago..i mean city defence always lose concentration at some poiNt , and as long as we take care of our rear, we can capitalize on that,GUYS JUST TRUST MAN UTD AND FERGIE,..

Re: What should our formation / line up be sunday?

4-5-1 sounds like were going for a draw, trying to crowd the midfield, kind of running scared. I don't think it matters who we play the result on current form will be a loss. (hope I'm wrong) there's a total lack of self belief going thriugh this team. In honesty we don't deserve any silverware this season and teams are no longer afraid of United. Too many injuries, and when is Cleverley coming back, we were told Christmas, maybe that's next Christmas. Dea Gea (simply not good enough) Evra (only makes the odd run up the flank) Evans (again simply not good enough having played now a sufficient number of games) Ferdinamd (needs to be put out to pasture "sorry Rio") Smalling (being played in too many different positions, is he our new utility player)) Valencia (Is he really a right back) Rafael (get the lad in and playing) Nani (too greedy in my opinion and waste too many chances when a pass will surfice) Carrick (should be long gone, this is the player we bought to replace Scholes, Bob Hope) Giggs (still the best player we have, wish we could turn back time) Park (seems to be a busy fool at times, but does put the mileage in I must admit) Anderson (we would be better off with Pamela, againg should be long gone, worst Brazilian midfielder I've seen) Berbatov (fantastic player at times, just a bit non productive at times) Rooney (also seems to play well in fits and starts, for god sake get a grip lad, this is Manchester United)

Go back to our good old European system, 4 5 1
I totally agree, in tough away games and against all of the better sides we simply have to go back to 4-5-1. Especially as midfield is our weakest area, we need more bodies in there! My team would be De Gea, Rafael, Ferdinand, Smalling, Evra, Valencia, Carrick, Pogba, Jones, Nani, Chicarito. I would give Pogba a chance, with two midfielders next to him, he could well flourish! Drop Rooney until he gets his head right!!

    4-0 to city

I will be happy with 4-0. We don't have money to spend and have a so call great manager who won champions league 3 times in his 25 years carrer. Galager support their manager and viceversa. Rooney can teach them a lesson by not scoring goal but eventually he may score against city and save the back of his manager.Fergie forget one thing he became great because of his players. without players fergie is nothing because player can shine without manager but manager can't .This simple truth is forgotten by fergie.

Go back to our good old European system, 4 5 1, Linders Smalls, Rio Evans Evra, (rafa if Jones is out), Valencia Jones Carrick Anderson Nani, and Rooney. Stiffle the opposition and counter with pace and accuracy. They are beatable at the moment, Mancini crying already about not being able to fill the bench, even with 91 players on his books. Good chance we can win this or at worse bring them back to OT, but I'd rather do it this weekend.

With no Smalling or Evans. I think we need Carrick at Centre back with a midfield 3 of Giggs, Anderson, and Jones
So we should play a CB at CM and a CM at CB? Makes sense to me.....
