Tell me out of our nice young forwards who could replace him, because a few of them have got a chance and none of them are up to the task. And there is a lot of talk of our young players that they are also interested in a move away from the club.If we cant hold on to our young players who have not even made it in to the first squad what does that say about our club at the moment.

True. And with the money from Rooney's sell he could have buy 2 top midfielders. Also Barca and Madrid have 2 YOUNG coaches with new ideas and new tactics. Fergie is old school and can't keep up with some of the new bosses out there.

Twitter is about as reliable as Jonny Evans so I wouldn't worry.

Dont think its true. The media like to make rumors when we are down and they use Rooney cause he is our best player and the only player we have who is worldclass besides Vidic. If it is true then i cant see much hope for the next seasons.Cause we all know when we sell our best players,we dont use the money to replace them,we bring in youngsters instead and that wont get us anywhere. We need Rooney and Vidic in this United team plus a worldclass midfielder that should have been bought last summer.
    Don`t hate on my opinion!

I could understand if he was upset after being told that there would be world class players bought, and we look like a club on the down,we would of been destroyed in europe if we kept playing in the champions league, and I can also understand that its a bit shameful getting beaten quite often.Grass is sometimes greener on the other side, and when your looking at a team who look pretty unbeatable buying more world class players,it could get you down. And on top of all that you have the manager dropping you and hitting you with a fine.Well you never know.I hope its bull, firstly I dont think we would see any of the money from the sale so we are losing a world class player and out of it we would be servicing our depts.Secondly we hvent got to many so called worldclass in our team and lossing rooney would be a big loss for united.

Really hope so,the most overrated player in the history of the Premier League,a myth!!..
Oh shush, if you had any sense you would not being saying that! Without Rooney we are absolutly useless, and even if he was playing badly today, we be even worse without him! Its true, rooney was right to question the clubs ambition because the squad is full of average players!
Should really look at his own performances instead of questioning others around him,his 1st touch is shocking, ball bounces off him.So many moves break down with him,200k a week,at lest try.His attitude to the game is poor, too much off field problems..

Kick him out . We need people commited to the course. United makes world players. if you want to be among the best be your best. Apart from Barca, how many teams can say their best players did not come from United. Real Madrid the obvious benefactor.

No player is greater than the club don't forget that!!!!! We sold Ronaldo, Beckham, Ruud, and we only came better afterwards. We have nice young forwards. Sell him and buy one holding midfielder and one attacking midfielder that can hold the ball and organize the play and you will see. Together with cleverley and the rest of the squad, UNSTOPPABLE
We have had midfield problems for 3 years and still haven't addressed them. What makes you thnik selling our best forward would bring that change? LMAO. Young forwards like Welbeck, Chicha and Keane in the same class as Rooney? What are you smoking?

SAF isnt honest with anyone so why does rooney expect any from him. SAF lies to fans, media and everyone on weekly basis in his press conferances. Giggs, Park, Berbatov, RIo all out of sorts. Park doesnt give utd anything apart from the running he does he has no end product or ability to score or create anything to win match, For me SAF has his favourites and they are who dont argue with him or question him thats why giggs, Park, Berbatov have all stayed on at utd. Rooney has hunger so does SAF but he seems to give more time to below par players now a days.

Funny how these rumours only start when we loose. Wouldn't be surprised if it's City or Chelsea fans trying to spread ***. I've never believed anything on Twitter to be honest. Especially seeing as according to Twitter, Ronaldo was having his City medical at Bridgewater Hospital at 1am in the morning lol!

If this was true then i say leave him go,sell him for a good lump sum i think its the only way United are going to sign any players any time soon(we are skint, all that rubbish about we have this and that yet we hardly see any investment in the team" this team is taped to gether and fergie is hoping for the best,If we sold Rooney we would save a Million £ odd a month and the only good rooney is an aggressive rooney other then that he can be ***.

Fergie talks about youth but rarely trusts them, and i am not surprised Phil Jones had a defensive shocker today, the boy has been played all over the pitch apart from playing as a striker and winger, fergie needs to give him a position and keep him there, not move him here there and every where, the manager is to blame as much as the players.

mmm i can taste the tears

Can understand where Rooney's coming from. A top, top class forward playing in a team that doesn't create enough chances to allow you to even have one shot a game, as a striker must be horrible. Don't worry, rooney, if you do go your football and wealth would improve no doubt about that
