you right about that man,,thought SAF wouldve learned that by now,especially after the runaround barca gave him,,think people bein a little harsh on nani,couple more games then i sure we all be lauding it over him...

why do we always do it,start well then just stop playing,i didnt think it was the young players in the back four fault at all we were over run in the middle of the park,nani,young,berba,park,just didnt give us enough,felt sorry for clev in m/f against the 3 they had,park never a c m/f not in a million years,and the less said about nani's effort the better

TBH im not bothered about this poxy cup,but i am bothered about our players performances,and last night they were awfull.

the first teamers like nani were terrible,backing off all the time,giving the ball away,young was poor again,cleverley wasnt much better.

Whats worrying for me is that the large part of our game is our wingers creating,scoring and causing problems for the opposition. Both of our wingers were poor. We are in trouble, espeicially since antonio is away for a while!

I agree that our wing players under preformed yesterday, but we are not defending the right way.. time after time our defense falls behind... and looking at older footage of spot kicks against United, our goalies were MUCH MUCH more aware and came out to clear the ball. Anything in the 6 yard box was all VDS. if you look at the second goal we conceded yesterday De Gea comes out and backs out into his net which allows the 2 or 3 Ajax players (who should have been blocked/covered by our D) to get in the 6 yard box and have a free header!! there is no presence of a goalie at all in that play! None of the opponents members are scared to come into the box. I think it all starts with the Goalie. The goalie sets the tone of the game. true??
