Re: Is it the end for Anderson & the beginning for Pogba?

I personally think that Anderson must be let go. He has never really settled. Our center midfeild should be: Starters: Carrick , New Signing Bench: Schooles, Giggs, Pogb***

Anderson has been at the club 5 years now and hasn't really made an impact at all, i'd give pogba a run.

Re: Is it the end for Anderson & the beginning for Pogba?

I think it depends to be honest on whether Fergie decides to buy, if Fergie decides to buy a midfielder in the summer then it could be possible that pogba and a new signing would force Anderson out! but having said that, we have players around like Pogba, Jones, Tunnicliffe, Petrucci, all young, and no need to be registered, so I think Fergie might feel he can afford to keep him, with youth cover such as that, I mean Tunnicliffe player in the championship at 18 is quite a good achievement, so high hopes for him! Pogba is already around but I feel if Pogba makes the step up to being above Anderson for United, he also has the fact that in a couple of years giggs and scholes will likely retire and carrick will be around 32, so he has things that can work for him but honestly if he can't stay fit, and if it's true hes out for season, it's getting too annoying now, Fletcher, Cleverley, Rio sure have their problems too, but Cleverley and fletcher both from academy and rio has turned himself into such a great leader and character around the younger players! one thing is for sure, he has a fight for his future!

Did Anderson ever start to get going? The lad has been a huge let down since arriving here, he has had long enough, he is injured more often than not, he looks out of shape when he comes back and doesn't add much to the team when he plays, lets be honest if his name wasn't Brazilian and more like Paul Smith people would of run out of patience with him a long time ago. I seem to recall many on here having a pop at Carrick who is out best midfielder believe it or not, then saying nothing about how Anderson is doing. I'm not even going to bother to talk about Pogba got no time for big time charlie's dilly-dallying on signing a contract for the biggest club in the world due to his agent, grow a pair and make your own mind up and sign, until then I wont waste my time as he could be gone in the summer.

Re: Is it the end for Anderson & the beginning for Pogba?

I would let Anderson go, like a Hargreaves, I'd sell him at the end of the season, 5 million would be a good price for him, and I can see him doing much better at a Fulham type club, United is too big for him. The central midfield is a bit up in the air though, Carrick and Cleverley would be my starting two, but then Scholes, Giggs? will they last much longer, will Scholes even play on after next season? Pogba, is he staying, going? I hope he stays. Jones can play centre mid so he's an option, Fletcher, will he come back? I think a central midfield addition is on the cards for next season, I would of suggested Javi Martinez, but it looks like he's a centre back now. Maybe a Rodwell would be a good direction to go in, a Tiote, Modric? albeit a ridiculously costly Modric no doubt, for me, Kovacevic would be my ideal signing, the teenage playmaker...

I was so excited about Anderson when we signed him, a raw teenager with bags of potential - "the new Ronaldinho". 4 years down the line and i can't recall anything particularly incredible he has done here :/ i like Anderson, but I just don't think that potential was ever fulfilled. (The injuries he's picked up certainly hasn't helped his growth!) Thanks Anderson, but now it is certainly all about Paul Pogb***
I want give Ando a final chance to prove himself out there. To be honest, I'm also running out of patience with him. We all know the lad has got bags of potential in him but his injuries are a real pain in the ar.se for him. Its hindering his development. So I want to give him one last chance. And Pogba still hasn't sign any contract extension with us. If he had then the club would've definitely confirm it on the club's official website ( Manutd.com ) .

yeah but they didn't tell us straight away about Micheal Owen getting an extension, i remember him saying... "I have known for a while but couldn't say anything"

so you know. they might not tell us straight away. which is cruel, but we have to still wait. i don't think he has signed yet. but we do hope he does

If Pogba has not signed already their would of been ZERO chance of him on the bench against West Brom, let alone him actually coming on!!
thats true,no chance SAF would consider him whatsoever if he hasnt sighned..
your both wrong!.......sir alex said after the brom match "he has still got to decide" so there you have iit, he played him without hims signing or agreeing ANYTHING proof? the master said so himself, and im sorry but hes right over any ss reports or you guys

yeah you know. but, he hadn't signed when he played before too. i don't know how Fergie is going about his business to try and get him to stay. maybe he realised himself that it might have been a mistake to "banish" him from the reserve and first teams. so he is taking a different approach now. he's a miracle worker at times.

I was in favour of keeping Pogba out of the squad until he signed, but i don't want to believe anything until i see it here. i'm sure we'll find out soon enough.

The poor guy cant catch a break. Looks like we have to plan next season with players like fletcher and anderson in the 'doubtful' category
Doubtful is a very kind way of putting it. I'd say both are all but written off.
