    Re: Is Hernandez improving?

IM SICK OF ALL THE ATTACKS CHICHARITO RECIEVES FROM MANY OF YOU, I HOPE EVERYONE EATS YOUR WORDS. CHICHARITO ITS NOT YOUNG AS WELBECK BUT ITS ONLY HIS SECOND SEASON IN EUROPE NOT ONLY IN UNITED AND WELBECK ALL HIS LIFE PLAY IN EUROPE AND IN THE UNITED SISTEM AND HE HAVE MORE EXPERIENCE IN THAT THAN CHICHARITO. MANY OF YOU HAVE SHORT MEMORY AND FORGET HIS CONTRIBUITION TO THE 19 TITLE, AND IN THIS SEASON HE HAS MORE DECISIVE GOALS THAN WELBECK. I KNOW THIS SEASON HES NOT AT HIS BEST FOR MANY REASONS BUT CALL HIM MEDIOCRE, USELESS, PATHETIC, ETC. ITS SAD, HES A GREAT PLAYER WITH A GOOD MIDFIELD HE SCORE A LOT OF GOALS, IM SURE HES GOT BACK TO HIS BEST NEXT SEASON WITH A PROPER REST AND PRESEASON BUT IF YOU DO NOT WANT HIM SELL HIM IM SURE MANY TEAMS WERE HAPPY TO HAVE HIM

I doubt he will .. Villa/Higuan/Benzema are class above Hernandez. He started last season as great sensation and made some good games. Now in 2 months he is 24. He is still good but considering Benzema/Higuain are his age and much better I doubt Real will want him.. I dont see him in Barcelona .. They buy only players who have great all round game . They dont use poacher.. Even Villa who is world class is deployed on wings/switches position etc ... Look at Sanchez amaZING player and during a game he plays 4/5 differents positions. . I think Hernandez will stay with us untill SAF gets tired of him then maybe some team like Stoke/Bolton will snatch him.

    Re: Is Hernandez improving?

Well Hernandez propably can make pretty good Ole type player that makes his trade by hitting goals from substitute bench. Ole was better as a player in general but if Hernandez can really figure out how to be effective super sub then excellent if not then his career is going to end up in some other way than United in the end. He simply ain't good enough in general to be a starter but as a squad player sure. United has now only Rooney who is far from his best form and Welbeck who is in too big role considering his early career and age and mediocre Hernandez who is struggling too. None of the three should be guaranteed starters if there was bit more competition or if SAF even used his squad to the maximum. Rooney ain't bad and i think he very rarely actually is really bad but compared to his best he ain't anywhere near that.

He is a natural goalscorer. An Owen type player sits on the shoulder, finds gaps and his movement is excellent but like any young player (Evans as an example) he needs a run of games. Someone called him a one trick pony. People said that of Gary Lineaker and he seemed to do ok
Hernandez isn't that young, people keep referring to him like he's 18-21 when he ifs older than that. No matter how you try to justify it he is not fitting in to our style of play. A goal poacher is something you bring on in the later stages of a game when the defenders are tired not at the start. I have no problem using him as a sub but not as a starter, he simply kills to many attacks. Plus where is all this great movement everyone is going on about? Haven't seen that since last season.

    Re: Is Hernandez improving?

Hernandez is going through an off form phase. His touch is heavy and he lacks his usual goal scoring instinct. But we have seen fantastic moves from him.The dribble against Bilbao in the box which led to the Rooney goal was class. The goal against Wolves last year when he made it 3-2 at the end of the game was quality too.Lets not forget what he can do when on form.He will be a top striker for Manchester United, thats for sure.

    One word, no.
I would have to agree with you especially after watching his last 2 games. He had a great opportunity last night early in the match but he did his usual of bumbling and stumbling over the ball and of course lost possession.

It's all too easy to jump on the bandwagon and blame Chicha, but in all honesty none of our players performed well/at all tonight. Although I do have to agree that we looked a better team when Welbeck came on.

I think Hernandez stayed too long in that game. Him and Ashley Young were not in the game. If we could have introduced Nani and Welbeck early on the game could have been won. But anyway life continues.
