Overall, if Berba leaves or not, it does not matter. It matter the facts. The title went to City on goal difference, which sends out a big sign....there is a problem in our striker's department. Welbeck, Chica etc....regardless how many people will say they are class etc bla, bla, bla.....they did not deliver what needed to win the title and this is simple - they did not score enough goals. It is quite stupid to say that vs Newcastle Berba started we we lost...so, what? Welbeck has 10 goals as first choice starter, Chicha in line with him.......I do not expect them to do any better next year. So, if Berba leaves and no big names signed in the summer, unfortunately our team will go down the line, the same way as Liverpool did.Mark my words...
Our team is not going to go down the line and of course you are going to say that Welbeck and Chicharito are not going to get any better because you are a Berbatov fan and you have always been a Berbatov fan.

I have no problem with Welbeck he will improve as he is still young and Hernandez is not quite on form at the moment. Sir Alex himself has said at this stage of the season experience is vital however we have the top goal scorer last season, one of the best hold up and tecnical one touch player to link the front men and midfield and can be vital at this time of the season to get us over the line. Whatever the issues Sir Alex has with Berbatov this is now the time to put it to oneside for the good of the team.
good thread bud, although welbeck did very well this season, but lookin back on it now imo you were dead right.berba should hav played the city game.rooney needed him badly for that game, mite hav been the difference...pity.
didn't he start against newcastle? a game we lost 3-0
    At my signal unleash Rafael

Will you cut it out with this Berbatov stuff? Berbatov is leaving in the summer.
So what? Is he still United player, or he is not?! Can he conribute to win the title - HELL YES! I don't care about Fergie's issue with Berbatov, but because of hes stubborn nature we are loosing points so far - FACT!
You mean like the 8 points we lost when we did use him?
No Jesus by any means, but when our other options are in their "best" form maybe SAF should try and shake it a bit, even if it is for the sake of the other strikers so they dont feel too confortable starting every game or so no matter their form, dont you think? Because both young players are not delivering right now. And it really doesnt matter how we rotate hernandez and Welbeck, it just doesnt seem to work at the moment. I dont think Berba will see pitch by the end of the season though. Hasnt played for ages now. Just hope Welbeck and/or Chihca start to hit it soon or we may really see a strugle for for goals. in final games.

Using average players when you have a great player available is stubbornness. I also have pace and energy but don't expect SAF to use me.

alex_ghv, how can Berbatov contribute to win the title when he is not playing. Fergie is not stubborn, he is just using younger players like Welbeck and Chicharito because they have pace and energy. Plus, we are not loosing points. Just because we lost to wigan on Wednesday, it does not mean we will lose to Aston Villa tomorrow.

Re: SIR ALEX, WE NEED BERBATOV NOW!!!

We are currently in a time where we need all hands on deck. Berbatov is a United player and it would seem he is fit, our other two strikers seem to be struggling a bit, so perhaps Berba should be on the Bench, so we have that option

He is still a United Player and can contribute, whats the point of waiting on Michael Owen who is never really fit when we have a striker just there wasting away that could contribute.

I would have thought it was common sense.

Sometimes personal grievances need to be put aside, it would be the practical thing to have him on the bench, since Chicha and Welbeck are struggling thats all

This is not a time to be making a statement about him being *** or a flop or whatever, this is a time, where whoever is fit and can contribute should be used.

We keep trying the same things over and over again, our players where supposedly tired when we played Wigan, well when you have the option to rotate a squad and you don't that is what is going to happen

There is no magic miracle here by including Berba in the Team but it gives us that "option" of another player who could score, whose touch is fantastic and is creative on the ball

When teams are parking the bus, doing the same thing over and over and hoping for the best, does not make sense. A bit more creativity is needed

We need another creative option apart from Nani and Berba is there to be used.

SAF can sell him off when the season is done.

At the moment he is still a United player. It is that Simple

It's Squeaky Bum Time and We've got the experience now to cope
