    Last season: David De Gea to start with.

    Previous seasons: Berbatov, Rooney, Ferdinand, Van Der Sar, Cole, Yorke, Keane, Cantona all signed when they were the fans favourites and reaching the peak of their game.

    But at the end of the day it isnt about who we want, its about who Fergie wants and whether his targets are available.

    I know we wont get Sneijder, Goetze and Modric... more either because one is past his best, the other has committed and the last well will be overpriced by Spurs. We have been watching Hazard so Fergie in some way must be interested. Whether anything will happen who knows.

    In terms of previous summers Ozil and Benzema turned us down as they prefered Madrid (We were interested and offered), Sanchez well he chose Barca over anyone else and tbh i dont think we were that interested. Sneijder well Inter didnt want to sell, Sneijder didnt care and well I am glad we dodged the bullet on that one. Sneijder would have flopped and done bad here.

    Aslong as we dont get Gaitan I will be happy. Either of Martinez or Strootman will be good business for our midfield.
