This would be my team:
Subs: Amos, Jones, Smalling, Cleverly, Young, Hernandez
Game Plan: Hold the ball, keep possession, allow our midfield to help the defence. Allow Scholes to dictate the play and Carrick to hold it up. Than penetrate with Valencia and use him to use his strength to beat weak Clichy and with pace drilling it into the box like he's done this season. Allow Nani, Welbeck and Rooney to do link up play and devastate the Man City defence like we did in the Community shield (the 2nd goal, Nani's second one) and like we did today. Try and keep it in their half and just tire their defence, than when it's late in the game introduce Hernandez & Young to introduce pace to devastate their defence and the other sub is kept for either an injury or if someone isn't preforming.
We need a draw or a win, they need the win. With these tactics & formation we can be very good defensively and keep the ball well than just really kick in the damage with nice play until later in the game where we use the introduction of pace to penetrate.
