I'm from Germany and all I can say is that this guy is the most overrated player in the past 3 or 4 years. He isnt even close to 6th choice in the German midfield and the fact that he struggled to get playing time at BREMEN says it all.

I think Marin will struggle in his first season over here. He can be as quick and tricky as he likes on the wings but one hard tackle from a bruiser like Shawcross will bring him down to earth.

Fair play to them. I remember he was once dubbed as 'The German Messi'. He hasn't really showed massive progress since then. Be nice to see him in the EPL though.

When was the last time you watched a match featuring Marin? Anytime in the last two years? No? Well how do you know he is the type of player we need?

I haven't seen that much of him, but from what I've seen, I can't imagine many Chelsea fans getting too excited about this move...
