one season has not defined his whole career as a United player, that has been the only season he has showed up as a United player, the rest he has been missing in action the majority of it.
I think people who value the beautiful game will remember Berbatov with the many magic moments, together with the hat-trick against Liverpool, the 5-s against Blackpool, etc. ... Others ... well they can remember whatever they like to....
Indeed people can remember whatever they like to,granted Berba has had "Moments" of magic, but for the most part has had "moments" of horror.

Berba if he had more gas,if he could play at a speed he would of been lethal, but Berba has two speeds Normal & Berba Speed, for the past couple of years,United have looked to counter with pace, and unfortunately for Berba he does not like to run that often.

mmm i can taste the tears

Berbatov had about 3 golden chances to win us the game against City in the Cup match we LOST....he missed all of them and they were sitters.....Mike Phelan could of scored them while nodding off thats how easy they were.....he made a mess of things totally. He has already arranged a deal elsewhere hence the lack of game time for us.
Does not it better to have a chance than no chance to score at all as per our last game against city?
So reason is the wrong one for being isolated, yet Berba did better by missing a chance? Brilliant sense!
Do you reckon striker who does not create a chance is better than striker who create a chance? Anybody here still believe Berbatov not play anymore because we want to play fast flowing football?
Hahaha so the cross from Nani that left Berba missing a sitter from a yard out, was created by Berbatov? Talk about blind fanboyism.
Is that the only moment you remember? Its show how biase your opinion is. Did you remember 'your best striker Rooney' was badly miss to score and cost us cl? I am not Berbatov fanboy and i am not blind either those why I can see you always talk nonsense and biase toward Berbatov and also try to find an excuse to defend a local player.
One moment? Not at all, I also remember him not knowing how to chip above Hart. Help me out here, which chance did he create then?

I'd rather him score a goal every game than score 5 in one game, lol ... YEAH ... and then lose the title on goal difference.
I'd prefer 5 each in both of the next two games.

Berba who? never heard of him.

Haha ... won't be saying that when Man City win the league, especially when "Berba who" basically won us the title on his own while Rooney was away doing you know what.

no what i will be saying if City win the league is how poor midfield was and how midfield was not reinforced Berba i can say will not be remembered he is but a distant expensive memory
So, what you are saying is that the 19th EPL title - for which Berbatov was one of the main contributors - wouldn't be remembered, right ?

play Berbs to score another "useless" 5 goals more

NO ... "I'd rather him score one goal every game, scoring five is not important" .... Oh wait ... BUT THEN we lose the title on goal difference this year.

    WHAT NOW?

And yet this season we scored more than the last one, go figure.
And yet, it might not be enough - go figure....

And ... Berba scored more goals last season when we ACTUALLY won the title than Welbeck has this season. Go figure! Losing the title to City is JUSTICE for Berba.

Well done! 9 years more exprienced than Welbeck and all he has to show for it is 9 goals more while also starting 6 more games. Go figure.

    Errrrrrr .... NO!

We're going to lose the title on goal difference, or in other words, because players like "Welbeck" did not score enough and just isn't good enough. On the other hand, Berbatov did score enough last season despite being benched for 1/4 of the season, and we ultimately WON the title. .... GO figure!

And when City lift the title GO figure!

Interesting......last year Berba's goals supposedly didn't matter and those who hate him explained them away as unnecessary as if a good goal difference was somehow meaningless. This year it's all "go Danny" when the lad hasn't even scored 10 league goals AND we're losing the title on goal difference. I guess it's always better to be a "local lad" and not do well. People will still love you b/c you come from down the road.

It seems you remember his miss-shots only but you never appreciate his contribution Mr Perfect...

With Danny out of the Swansea home game he may have a shot of starting! i would love to see us go 4-3-3 and try build up our goal dirference as the swans arent a team i can see showing up at OT with a 4-5-1 park the bus tactic. I would love to see Chic, wayne, dimi, young and valenica all start! tht wud be a real sign of intent on our part. Also i really do think toon can get a result against city espically after their win at the bridge!

I miss VIDIC more than any other player! Damn if he was just not injured he would've sorted out our defensive mess!
