    DIZZA IS BACK!!!!

big things have happened since i temporarily left. Valencia has signed, which i sort of expected, but Owen.... (sorry you're probably all sick of the threads about him) i did not see that coming! i even laughed at all the reports until i saw it on manutd.com. i guess it could be a masterstroke though if it pays off....

as for AFL, anyone else see St.Kilda v Geelong this afternoon?? WHAT A GAME!!!! great finish.

another loss this week for my Tigers though, but audouc, your Blues had a good come-from-behind win against the Dockers over there at Subiaco! the stage is set for a big one this Saturday at the MCG... Carlton v Richmond.

I was very surprised about the signing of Owen too but this could be another master stoke from SAF.

I watched the game between St. KIlda and Geelong. Great game indeed. St. Kilda came flying out of the blocks. It took Geelong a while to come to grips with.

    Sadly my Lions lost again.

bad luck about Brisbane losing. and with Geelong this week, i think it might be 2 losses in a row unfortunately. as for my Tigers, well..... we'll just keep battling on down the bottom of the ladder lol.

Did you see the head but from Brennan ? and yes I can not see us getting a result against Geelong. They trashed us last time round and have a point to prove after their loss this weekend I guess.

was very surprised to see Brennan's headbutt. that was totally out of character for him! i think he could be in a bit of trouble with the Match Review Panel. i'm tipping 3 weeks.

I agree on both counts....Michael's confused life has ended...may the King of Pop rest in Peace! Berba looks really cool and laid back... probably saying Thank goodness the two dummy spitters are gone....now I'll have team mates "Passing to me!" Can you imagine "Tevez" immature enough to go publically to admit he would not pass to Berbatov...I knew that by his face and body language...but the worm admitted it on leaving....Shame on Tevez!

I think it's safe to say i have the best signature on this forum Cool. Lol

And yes tevez is shocking, i can't believe how my opinion of him has changed so dramatically.

He said he feels he was "pushed out of OT", they offered you a 5 year contract! how is that forcing you out the door mate?!

And i cant wait to see the reaction to his arrival back to OT when he plays for city, he'll get quite a shock...he's upset many fans with his constant whinging to the media. But he thinks we still love him. Oh how times have changed.

i haven't seen much of what Tevez has said, as not much gets reported over here, but from what i have heard the guy needs to move on! he can convince himself that he's still at a big club.... but i guarantee he'll get quite a shock come Derby Day!

your wife will not be happy with the Hawks performance last night. they got SMASHED by the Bulldogs 133 to 45. it was 9.6.60 to 0.2.2 at quarter time and 13.9.87 to 0.4.4 at half time, so they really got dominated by the Bulldogs all game. i think the Doggies could be a dark horse in the finals this year.

No I missed it buddy. I tipped the Cats to win but there you go. Long way to go yet. If I remember from last year Geelong were on top all season and favourites to win the Flag and Hawthorn crept up and beat them. If Carlton or Collinwood reach the finals you never know. But I think the Cats will be looking to make amends up from last year. I remember the players  faces sitting on the pitch at the siren and presentations ( in between my wife jumping up and down as she is a Hawk supporter LOL), they were gutted.    Devil

That style of play buddy (I mentioned this a while back) was created by the Carlton manager, Ron Barrasi in the 1970 Grand Final against Collingwood. The last Grand Final I ever had the honour of seeing. Collingwood were out marking Carlton every where. At half-time, he told his players to forget about marking and just punch the ball away instead of trying for a mark, and more hand-passes. It worked and Carlton won.

that would have been an amazing game to be at! did you see St.Kilda v Geelong this afternoon?? that was also a great game, although now there's only 1 undefeated team...

    great to be back audouc.

as for this Saturday's contest, CARN THE TIGERS!!! although, i think you'll be the one laughing at 5pm Saturday afternoon. i can't really see the Tigers winning this one, but i can hope for the best i guess.... after all, that's what we've had to do since the early 80's hahaha. the game has changed so much since when you would have last seen it. the focus is more on keeping possession and running with the ball rather than kicking to packs and having players who can take big contested marks.
