    Re: Anti-Muppet Team

Anyone besides me notice in the match tracker thread how one of our usual muppets seemed a little more sedate?   He was still critical but definately cooled it down a little bit and even tried to say a few positive things.     I wonder if he is slightly worried by who got named Moderators?  LOL.

lol, i think some sort of IQ test is required before entry to this forum is granted.

i find it especially hilarious people saying that we're missing out on "world class" players, when most of them are just technical ballet dancing ego heads from La Liga or the Serie A. FIFA OVR ratings mess with people's perception of reality!!!

I suggested the IQ test thing also, but I don't think that it will go down well. We might be accused of violating their 'Human Rights'. LOL!!!

Yes, we lack 'world class' players. LOL!! For argument sake, let us say that SAF bought Aguerro, David Villa and David Silva. He sells Nani, Berbatov and Owen. We have Rooney, Aguerro, Silva, Villa, Macheda, Welbech and Joshua King. Who would SAF play? We will start looking like a certain blue team. And the wage bill will be astronomical. Maybe the 80 million is a pot of gold and will last forever!!!

At the start of the season it was the goalkeepers. Last month it was the midfield, last week it was the strikers. This week it is the defense. I don't think that anybody is immune to an attack. I am surprised that they have not gone after Fred the Red!!! LOL!!! What would we do without him?LOL!!!

hahaha. but ppl keep slating me 4 my opinion!!!!

At least you get replies. I get ignored. LOL!! The only time I get a reply, is when someone wants to insult me!!! LOL!!! Yes, it's not very nice when you have an intelligent opinion and get slated for it.

Why is it so difficult to have an intelligent conversation/debate on here? It seems sometimes that if they can't win an argument, they get defensive and abusive. I once got a reply, where the guy told me that he was glad that I could drag my fingers off the floor and reply to his post. I thought that was hilarious, considering that I am 1.90m tall!!

    Dizza the aussie:

lol. that useless Aguero scored for Atletico, so he's got his share of the spotlight as well! that forum will be a very fun place on Sunday if we lose or draw.....

I noticed the Aguero threads also. I think Aguero and the two Davids get more attention than our very own players. Aguero must have one heck of a tan from being in the spotlight so often! LOL!! I watched the highlights of the Chelsea game, and he did score two decent goals. But no better than Berba's, yet Aguero is their hero and Berba is useless. I'd rather have Berba any day!

I can't wait for Drogba's hatrick and for our defense to be massacred!!! LOL!!! The forum will be out of control. I think that the Mods are gonna have one heck of a time trying to maintain control on here.

I think that we will have a good game. Our players are starting to hit form now and our strikers look especially sharp. The defense will kick on pretty soon also. It's just a matter of time.

The muppets are out in full force. Apparently Drogba is gonna destroy our defence and score a hatrick.LOL!!! They are also saying that we were lucky once again and there is the usual player slating going on. I have decided not to get involved. I haven't even bothered to go onto the Transfer Speculation thread. I just can't drag my mouse up the page to click onto the forum! LOL!!

    Re: Anti-Muppet Team

    Good morning everybody.

    Dizza the aussie:

LOL! how dare we have a different opinion to a muppet who isn't even posting on here for the right reasons! such intolerant, patronising people we are! (yes, i have read such statements on here!).

anyway, are you watching the game at the moment??

I am almost afraid to have an opinion now!!! LOL.

I stayed up and watched the game. I thought that we were really unlucky. I was appalled at the referee's decision to book Fletch for diving. Was the ref watching the same game? LOL!!

We played well at times, but the luck didn't fall our way. Also, I thought that Macheda played brilliantly on the left. I was worried when SAF took him off, but Obertan and Evra were brilliant. I can't wait to see them play regularly together. Valencia seems to have become an integral part of the team now. Wow, if he continues in that vein, the sky is the limit.

Anyway, hope we saved some of the luck for the Chelsea game.

Just before I left, I logged on and read that a few members had a dig at the posters who kept these threads in Fan Zone going. This thread and the Hi/bye thread were mentioned.LOL!! I guess that people are sitting up and taking notice of all the muppet busters. We are not very popular amongst some of the posters! LOL!
