Well said sir, well after Fergie, its over the English boy signings. Since the FA dont intend doing the right thing, the next coach wont be as sane and nice as fergie to them.

One thing that is a certainty for Man City in the future is administration. They are massively in debt to Mansour, and if he decides to call that debt then their stuffed.

Chelsea proved it, now City are proving it, when big money is invested into a club they are going to win things, its as simple as that. The worrying thing is City's big spending doesn't look likely to dry up anytime soon, Chelsea cooled down after Mourinho departed the club and they started to become a more self sustained unit, but these guys in charge of City make Abramovic look small time, they spend cash for fun. Surely there needs to be a rule introduced into the top competitions which limits the spending of a club, otherwise we could be looking at being pushed further down the pecking order in the next few seasons. No matter how proud a United fan you may be, you have to concede that while City are free to chuck hundreds of million into improving the squad we are in deep ***. It really does take the *** how United have worked so so hard to be in their position in English football then some foreign pricks come and ruin our hard work with money. Its not only that its the fact this huge spending is massively inflating players wages and now you see players joining clubs simply because their being offered unrealistic wages, even if their purpose is just to warm the bench
100% agreed. Money does buy success, its not even an opinion its a fact. People who argue against that just make themselves look stupid. City proved it this season, chelsea have proven it, real madrid proved it with the galaticos and have proven it again this season.

We can whine all we want until UEFA decide against it we will be on the receiving end. Let's not forget we have had our high ends on signings as well (Veron, Berbatov etc) The only difference with us is we build a team while others assemble players in a season. UEFA will not decide on the FFP because Barca and Real Madrid will face the brunt of it. We may have to be patient but City have definitely come in to hurt us big time. They seem to even unsettle players we are going for. Until a player REALLY has the passion to play for us,, I doubt we will get any world class player because City will just jump in a promise a herculean wage and we will lose out. If we even match transfer bid, we may have a salary snag and honestly I will not want a single player to come unsettle the entire team with ridiculous demands. Had Ronaldo decided to be our Messi and stay permanently, we won't have been asking all these questions. Footballers now play for money than glory and apart from Scholes and Giggs i do not see that love across anymore. There are many questions to be asked but it begins also from the FA. Those silly men in coats have turned the EPL into a business venture rather than the pride of a nation. the very reason why England performs woefully in international competitions is due to this fact. ONLY United and Liverpool have contributed to the National teams and until that stops England will win NOTHING. I even fear for the English boys we have should fergie call it a day. If an English manager does'nt take over, I see a lot of these guys getting shipped off

I agree with this post to some extent they bought a lot of players that's for sure and eventually they got a winning combination their players are no getting some chemistry and well because they have so much world class players they have the upper hand sure we do have world class players but not enough in my book look at teams like bayern and real and barca the amount the have is outstanding so what we need to do is spend some money sell some players and buy capable players

Since we had to sell Ronaldo we haven't been able to get any players we want now. We're completly shut out of the market for top talent. Real even snapped up Benzema easily that season when we wanted him. We still have a good youth system with some great talent but we're loosing them too now. This summer is vital.

City have trashed the league. A team who have won nothing compared to UTD in the last 20 years has buying power over us? Teams like Arsenal are finding the talent while City can pinch who they want, it's becoming a farce. They've spent more money in the last couple of years than Fergies whole reign. Whoever bags the richest billionare wins now. Who's the next 'contenders'? If we keep loosing good youth players like Pogba I wont be watching the game in the future because the money will have trully swamped the game and finally killed it for me.

There's still 180 minutes of football to be played by the red half and 90 by the blue noses... don't throw it in just yet. But if the extremely likely (I hate to say it) happens next week...Unless UTD score 11 today Take it on the chin...move forward to the next challenge. Fergie leads by example time and time again. Unlike these, lets play the blame game, fans I'm reading about. Mancini is a proven manager with bags of money to spend...we seen it with Chelsea...we seen them off... we are now seeing it with the citeh... we'll knock them off too. If these challenges didn't present then Fergie would've retired years ago. This (city) is gonna keep him interested for another wee while I think<<

Re: It's all but confirmed, success can be bought

Success cant be bought, but big players, leaders of men that "consistently" rise to the occasion "when it counts" can..

Ive said it before and I will say it again, bouncing back when it is needed, there is no point losing crucial games, only to go and have a goal fest against Bolton, QPR etc, 3nils, 4nils, the next week and bragging about it

    It makes no sense.

We have to be winning games at all times and especially when it matters.

No offence to Bolton and co, but we have not done the job at the right time.

We seem to have lost the ability to raise our game past a certain level, combined with the lapses in concentration, the general complacency etc.

    We have not done enough

It's Squeaky Bum Time and We've got the experience now to cope

They may have bought the league, but you cannot buy history. They are just a team full of mercenaries who play for money, not for the team or for the club itself. I for one would hate to be a part of a football club like that. Well done to Citeh for their efforts, but they will never, ever come close to United's history or passion.

1 thing that I can confirmed is that there is plenty of "Church Worshipers" on this Forum LOL ... when faith is lost ... they'll start pointing fingers LMAO
I'm a realist, plain and simple. Hard work and passion doesn't get its due credit anymore in Football, the word money gets mentioned and thats when all the ears *** up
thats hard truth of REALITY! Football is no different
