Re: Pep is better than Sir

Success can only be measured over a longer period of time & to say 'Pep better than Sir Alex' you are either only 6 years old, don't know what you talking about or a sabateur from Scouseland? Give Pep a 'normal' team/club (without Messi & half the national World Cup winning team) & see how well he does then, eh? We'll see next season shall we, when he messes up at Chelsea or where ever he may turn up. Maybe he'll go to Aberdeen FC & emulate Sir Alex in winning a European title with 'peanut' players!! What's that? You forgot Sir Alex achieved this? (Sir Alex has won 4 European titles; that's 2 more than Pep(si) + many, many, many more! I pity you fool!

Pep inherited a team that was already full of top class players and they respected and played their socks off for him because he's an ex-Barcelona player. He still has a lot to prove in my opinion, like that he can build a team and that he can handle pressure when things get tough.
Didn't Pep coach most of those guys before they were introduced to the first team while they were playing for their reserves or B team? This was when Raajkard was their coach. You can say that he did build that team or had great influence building that team.
Then we must find the father(s) of Messi, Xavi, Iniesta... they're coaching them on their childhood, aye?

If we go to that extent, then we could say it was actually the scouts who built the team. Afterall it was them that found Messi, Iniesta and Xavi.

Just by looking statistics: Sir has won only 2 Championships in last 20 years and Pep has won twice in the last three years. What Ferguson does better than anyone else is that he has a tremendous track record of premier league championships. since 1991 it's been only 3 times that Man Utd has finished the league in the 3rd position or below. In other words we have strong home dominance but when you look at the europa games, you can clearly see it's not the case. From this line of reasoning I would say Pep is more successfull than Ferguson.
Why don't you go *** him off then lol. He had the team pretty much set up for him already with unlimited money, sir alex made us into one of the most succesful clubs in the world, and judging by what you just said you wouldn't support man utd if we weren't successful, therefore you wouldn't support united if Sir Alex never made us what we are, end.

Guardiola is a good manager but in this moment he is running away because he fears Mourinho, he feels that his impressive record with Barcelona is not going to continue in the seasons that follow. So no matter how good he is, Pep is not a "Big" manager. And SAF has proven himself through the years, I fail to remember him fearing the competition with ANY manager. This comparison is not adequate, I think, SAF is much better And my opinion is that in the present moment it's exactly SAF who is keeping us on top. With the same players and Guardiola as manager we could be easily behind Arsenal, Spurs and Newcasle this year.

Barca has a different mindset than us. Each year they battle for all titles they can. IF they fail, they will find a new manager. Sometimes change is good. Pep has won quite succuess in this short period of time. And his job at Barca is done. SAF also won quite success at this club but now it's time for change. We need to bring fresh face to this club like Diego Simeone....

SAF has has quite a lot of success? Quite a lot? Listen my friend, you don't know our history, that much is clear, or you would know that Sir Alex has done more than quite a lot. It goes far beyond the full trophy cabinet. Manchester United is the best supported club in the world, the most successful club in English football, a pioneering modern global football club. It was not any of those things when Sir Alex took over. The club was in the doldrums. People who are that ignorant shouldn't express their ill informed opinions.

Sustained success is much more difficult to achieve than instant success. Pep's next job will truly define him as a manager, that is when we'll properly be able to judge his abilities.

Pep need to move on to other clubs to prove himself. On other hand, Mourinho is definitely a best Manager of the decade.
