Gutted would have been putting it lightly :-( To Be within 90 seconds of the title, given the injuries we have had this season is a massive accomplishment. TBF even if we won the league (prepares for abuse) I would have said that Citeh probably deserve it more. Scored more goals, conceded less, played better footbal. Simple as!!!

I have faith though that this will be a springboard for next season though. The younger players who have been involved this season will have tasted dissapointment and will come out fighting. Fergie will now take Citeh more seriously and invest in some World Class players. We have youth on our side and buyinjg potential is a good idea, as long as we buy complete players to help them along as well.

Unlike a lot of the folks on here, I didn't concede the title after the Everton or Newcastle games. The club's steely determination rubs off on to us proper fans and we know that as long as its mathematically possible (however improbable) there is always a chance.

Thanks to the lads for their efforts this season. First trophyless season in 7 yrs. Not bad (but still gutted) when u think about it. We are truly spoilt with success. LONG MAY IT CONTINUE. GGMU[

Yes, hurts like a knife stabbing into my heart, man.... Especially when we thought we are just 2mins away from winning the 20th title, it's really very cruel. But I am still very proud of the players and manager. They gave all they have to pust City to the very last. I am sure we will be back next season. How about the double again. EPL title and CL champions?? Come on United!

    Fooking goal difference!!

Load of boll0x. Watching the trophy parade on SSN, that ugly monkey hybrid Carlos Tevez, smiling, with that horrible set of choppers on em, waving his "RIP Fergie". I don't think I'll last until August, thank God for the Euros, get me mind off it.

Geniunely buzzed when i read some of these comments. New season will come soon enough, a fair few of these players bloodied this year will be stronger and better this coming season i promise you this!!

89 Points, and we've not even hit the heights with fergies last team

But it will need some investment, lets hope these yanks provide it

Still in shock Jasper man! I felt like going on the beer last night and blanking it all out!!! Wheres Mark.k, i wanna hear what he has to say!!!!!!!
kinda numb today to be honest man,,got hammered last night, put plenty of distance between me and tv screens, worked well till my alarm gave me a heart attack today, then went to work,oh god,you should"ve heard em,so i made a song i was singing to them,,the city is yours, the city is yoooours, when you win 19,we"ll have won 44,,lol....
With 44 years between titles it'll only take them another 704 years to get as far as 19 - wonder how many we'll have by then?

Watched the first 1/2 in a pub in Amsterdam with all games televised.

Left to get the train with both teams (city and United) 1 nil up, thinking that both would win their game and City would take the league on goal difference. Wasn't expecting the twists and turns to follow. Kept an eye on my phone for minute by minute updates but texts were coming from friends faster. I was shocked but delighted when I heard QPR were 2-1 up but knowing football wouldnt celebrate till it was all over. Then the b.astard text came in "City 3-2". I couldnt believe it.

This is the type of torture United have been serving up for two decades. I'm not happy but have to accept it. Won't watch sky sports news for about two weeks though cause I couldn't bear to see the mercenaries celebrate.

City will have some success but United have the right culture and mindset to bounce back and win again. Can't wait for the summer now - United strengthen and Tevez goes home. I seriously hope City and Chelsea get kicked out of the UEFA competitions over the next couple if years for their financial cheating.

Haha great song Jasper, stick it to them!! Id say ur head was sore this morning, i was tempted to go go get hammered as well but i said i would wait till next weekend and hopefully get hammered while celebrating Chelsea's loss!! That must have been a horrible way to find out the result Mark! Oh well it will only make us stronger next season! A busy summer is coming up hopefully, Kagawa would be a nice start!
