    Re: Holding midfielder after hazard/kagaw***

It all depends on what formation we are going to play! I was being drawn towards us playing 4-2-3-1 with kagawa and hazard coming and maybe a holding mid, but with fergie saying we don't ever play with a holding mid I can't see us getting one

Rather we get an..erh...energetic commanding box to box player ala Kevin Strootman.
This. Kagawa/Hazard, Strootman, Baines, Clyne, Powell.

I would sign Hazard Baines Kagawa Clyne Powell and another striker or maybe with us trying to sign Hazard and Kagawa we would have another attacking players i would sign Martinez aswell. There are still doubts over Fletchers fitness Pogba is leaving Anderson is injury prone Cleverley is still young Carrick needs help etc.We need to sign at least 2-3 new midfielders aswell as another RB like Clyne and another LB like Baines.

getting one maybe both of these players still wont sort our midfield. Hazard wants to play in the rooney position, through the middle, and kagawa is a real battler and will never give up a bit like park. the real problem is our CM/DM, maybe SAF is putting it off again, as scholes is staying on, cleverley is coming through and Carricks had a good season. My worry is cleverley isnt as good as we all hope, Carick has another uninpressive seasons and Anderson gets injured again.
I agree. We didn't need 2 attacking midfielders till now but now we need it. Owen & Berba are leaving & Keane wille be loaned out. So that leaves us with 3 strikers. Welbeck & Rooney are the first choice. Chicha as SUB. If we sign both Hazard & Kagawa our attaking options will be full.

A DM should also be a top priority. Pogba is leaving. So yes , we either sign a DM or promote Tunnicliffe. We've got 2 choices. Its up to the gaffer which choice he takes.

what is love? Manchester United is love

Sorry to show my ignorance, but I'm puzzled by the frequent use of *** in posts, e.g. as in this post: Kagaw***. The first time I saw this I thought it might be some kind of hidden insult, but it crops up all over the place and obviously, like with Kagaw***, with no bad implications. Answers welcome - but remember, I've already admitted ignorance so be kind

TBH I would have gone for M'Vila over any of the other mooted defensive-minded midfielders. He's a fantastic player. However, I still think he'll go to Arsenal despite Wengers denial.

this. I would prefer a box to box midfielder like Strootman over Hazard or Kagawa. Its not our attack that needs revamping, its our defence. My signings would be Hazard / Kagawa, Strootman / Martinez, Baines and Clyne.

First off, clevs isnt a 'DM' however he is a creative box to box player.

It seems Fergie is moving away from relying on a Defensive midfielder and therefore does not feel the need to go out and buy this specific type of player, especially if we have players that can do the job, if need be (Carrick, Jones, Fletch and Pog if he stays)

Fergie has always been more of a fan of box to box mids, and id imagine his new desire to play a faster game, will re-enforce this.
my view is the most NB type of player we need to be bringing in right now to accomodate this fast style of play, is a creative central player....ie Kagaw***

British football is dying. i mean where are the talents like robson, keane, butt, beckham, gone. or even players from diffrent teams like the shearers, gazzaz, tony adams etc where are these typr of players
The league is far more global now than back then and it attracts the top talent from around the world. Unless strict guidelines are imposed homegrown talent will suffer as will the national side.
