kev.utd:How is it that we win the league and the Champions League one year, and the next we lose the best player in the world and one of the best strikers in England? And now these London a**eholes win the Champions League out of nothing, finish sixth in the league, and still manage to beat the two best teams in England to the signature of one of the most coveted talents in the world?
P.S. therealry locks posts so I lock them too.
At United he would have competition from Valencia, Young, Nani, Giggs, Park amongst others, and this is without even considering any potential new arrivals.
People saying that we have become second best etc purely down to this transfer saga are just spouting nonsense.
We were in for Essien but he chose to move to chelsea. When we signed Valencia, madrid were also interested but he chose us. We were interested in Benzema but he chose madrid. As one of many clubs after Jones last summer we came out on top.
The fact is that if we are interested in a player it is likely that other top cluibs will be too, and players have alot of different factors that will have a baring on their choice. Be it money, playing time they are likely to get, weather, the city where they will be based, country or who they will be working with. And obviously different players will place more importance on certain factors.
Honeslty not sure why anyone is asking why Ronaldo left, did you really not pay attention AT ALL. Tevez, same thing, pretty obvious.
