c.l.i.t. dempsey or nani??? Nani every time...plus nani was good this season till he got the injury..by that time valencia had solidified his position...but if u pay attention to nani ull see he is no longer selfish..one touch football, pace and skill and he is the only person in the team that CAN and DOES shoot from distance

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I find yours to be BS. Nani is hugely inconsistent, he's a big time Charlie, but has never actually gone big time. He is often lazy, he doesn't track back enough, his work rate is poor, he makes the wrong decisions too much, he has lot's of skill yes, but often uses it in the wrong places. He's also been with us 5 years and has never better more than a 10 goal season, yet he thinks of himself as Ronaldo class? Ha. I'd choose Valencia on the right over Nani, all day, everyday. And Ashley Young over him on the left most days. I am however aware he is considered the most valuable of our wingers, which I don't understand... so I'd just sell him on, and have done with him. Ji Sung Park, Yes... I would keep him for another season if we sell Nani, just for the back up ability, and also his work rate is faultless, he has earnt another season at least with us after his ONE poor season. Kagawa and Dempsey would provide the rest of the cover. No player is bigger than the club, bye bye Nani.
nani is hugely inconsistent yet still manages over 10 goals for a winger for past 2-3seasons and over 12-15 assists in the same time bracket.

inconsistent is a bandwagon and invalid statement. lol it doesnt add up. simple. also em....hes scored 12 this season...........i think mathematically thats over ten.... and has topped or is around the top of the assist chart always. he created 12 goals this season.

this. the reason people complain about nani is they expect him to be a ronaldo.

Nani sh.its on Valencia young and kagawa, why ? Valencia is a speedster and a crosser that's all he's got. Young good player plays 1 good half disappears another. Kagawa its only bayern to compete against the rest are really average teams..and beside you're actually suggesting us to keep park? nani is the only skillful player we have, doesn't need spaces and gr8 long shots almost 2 footed can play perfect and score on the right or left. Sell the 30+ and let the 38 retire and our 3 wingers gonna have good playing time I guess.

Nani out, I've never rated him that high. Dempsey in.

So Nani has kicked it all off, leaving the door open to an exit, maybe a play towards getting a much, much bigger contract like Rooney did. The difference? Nani is no Rooney, and personally I think this should be the beginning of the end for him. The time is now right to sell him on, I've said this for months. He's an inconsistent player, he lacks team ethic, he has never really hit the heights we thought he would, and with 18 months on his contract, now is prime time to cash in on him, he'd command 25-30 million. A team like Paris, Juventus, Inter, AC is perfect for him. We're getting in Kagawa who can play on the wing as well as central attack, we then have Valencia and Young, who by the way, I would start over Nani anyway lol. We also have Park, who I think it's probably now worth keeping on another season if Nani goes, just for extra back up. Welbeck can play out wide too, and finally, the perfect addition to our squad, Clint Dempsey on a free transfer from Fulham, or very small sum. Dempsey can play anywhere across the attack, so with him, we'd have plenty of options on the wings, we'd also be quids in from the Nani transfer. Valencia, Young, Park, Dempsey, Welbeck, Rooney, Giggs, Cleverley. These are the players who could all play in attacking positions for us, across the top of a 4.2.3.1 or a 4.3.3. I'm very happy with those choices, we don't actually need Nani. With the extra Nani money, we could perhaps even give the green light to make a big signing in central midfield, Modric, Strootman, Fellaini, Martinez etc. Or perhaps even go one further, and pave way to sign a striker, Falcao? Cavani? Luke De Jong? stranger things have happened.
