    Re: will kagawa start?

    Depends what system SAF goes with. In a 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1, I can see Kagawa playing on the left, but cutting in and influencing the game from the middle.

    Premier League Team: 4-4-1-1/4-4-2

    ===============De Gea=============

    Rafael====Ferdinand====Vidic=====Evra

    ========Cleverley======Carrick=======

    Valencia========Rooney=======Kagawa

    ==============Welbeck==============

    Champions League Team: 4-2-3-1/4-2-1-3

    ===============De Gea=============

    Rafael=====Ferdinand===Vidic=====Evra

    ==========NEW CM====Carrick========

    =====Nani======Kagawa=====Young===

    ===============Rooney==============

    NEW CM - Defence minded midfielder.

    Re: ManUtd.com: Kagawa deal agreed - your reaction

    To be honest, i was slightly apprehensive at first and couldn't make up my mind if Hazard or Kagawa was better. But now i am sure it's Kagawa. How so? Well, i analysed the stats on soccernet and found that he's been consistently scoring and creating since arrving in Dortmund. He's been there for only two years and already helped Dortmund win 2 titles and one German Cup. This also takes into consideration that during his first year, he played only half a season (suffered a metatarsal break) and still scored 8 goals. Hazard, on the other hand, has only really blossomed this season. Maybe he's on a temporary good run of form, who knows? Also, Hazard plays in Ligue 1 which to most fans and players alike, is not perceived to be as difficult as the German league is. Seeing Kagawa destroy Bayern Munich, Schalke and Leverkusen over the months just makes him an obvious choice. I just hope Fergie plays Kagawa as the central attacking midfielder behind Rooney and Hernandez, then Rooney will be able to focus more on attack, which will surely get United more goals. There's already enough competition among specialists on the wings (Nani, Young, Valencia, Park) so i hope he doesn't get deployed there. Most importantly, i hope he's granted plenty of playing time.

    I'm over the hill with this signing, many people don't know him really well or perhaps haven't seen him too often, but he is one heck of a player! Besides loving United I'm a BvB fan as well... So you can imagine what it feels like, your favorite player leaves a club you like, and joins the club you love... マンチェスター·ユナイテッドへのウェルカムシンジ!

    Great Signin i have seen Kagawa play and he will be a great addition to the squad. If we could only now ad Sneijder to the midfield now one can stop us than. Realy made my day this news i have been following this transfer for more than a month now i delighted to hear that is finished.

    I am convinced that this is the way forward. Asian footballers, I mean! They are honest workers, dedicated, passionate about their football (and club), they work very hard! Of course, up there amongst the major consideration is that they DO NOT cost a bomb, as their European, South American and, (lately) their African counterparts do! To be fair, yes, Hazard would do MU fine, but at GBP32 million? Kagawa, at 23 and at a fraction of Hazard's cost, in my opinion, is in tandem with United's long tested and proven policy of going for youth and implanting the sense of "history" in each and every individual donning United's red! That is the gist of why MU is the largest sporting brand in the world! Even at United, we have seen that big money signing is never a guarantee to success. As a red, I would definitely prefer a long term team over a one season (or maybe two) squad. United is for the long haul, even if it means a season or two of transition. In Fergie We Trust! Scholes + Kagawa in our midfield, I rest my case.
