I think we need a more defensive player like Nigel de Jong / Khedira type not another Carrick.. We already have many great passer like Scholes, Giggs, Cleverley so I'm also agree that we don't need Modric and I'm certain we won't sign him but as I say a real defensive mid maybe Javi Martinez

M'Villa would be my pick. He has great anticipation and fantastic drive. He isn't your standard DMF, more a box to box player who knows how to tackle, win the ball and pass. I would be happy with him...but KAGAWA FTW!!!!

I've been a huge fan of his for some time and he is a tremendous talent who will cause havoc to defenders and will be our version of Silva/Ozil. Shinji is a tremendous dribbler and can beat just about any defender with his flair and pace. He is also just as tricky as Hazard which will surprise all those who have written him off so early because he is Japanese! I can't wait for him to join the squad on the preseason tour and show everyone what a talent he is!
