No chance of that happening IMO. We've already got our star signing of the season. SAF will possibly add a few versatile youngsters to the mix with maybe (hopefully) a half decent striker if we're lucky.

i disagree with some of you. althought we dont need anymore wingers we do need a left footed one. and honestly you will not get a better one then gareth bale. at spurs his talents go more or less wasted because strikers don usualy put them away. he is like for like in terms of replacing gigs. were going o get a left footed winger at some point why not gareth why not noW? hes prem proven quick quality crosse and so what if he costs 35 mill id pay up to 40 for him. i doubt the rumours are true anyways and tht spurs would let him go. but id love him here. you alwso forget one of our most effective players valencia is a one trick pony too

Not sure I'd want Bale now. Good player but I dont think he is worth the money being quoted. He had some good matches in the Champions League which sent his value soaring. Still feels as though Spurs are clinging to those matches with regards to his value. I'm not saying he's been poor since, just that his price is definatley inflated,
