Looks like it.He should have scored on of the chances atleast.Same with Balotelli.Lol.

Hope Welbeck starts for England tomorrow but im afraid Hodgson will go for Carroll.Im looking forward to see Ashley Young,he has been in great form for England lately and i think he can do very well.

Yeah, what's the story with Hodgson? Is he trying to make a point to Liverpool and their fans?
Know what you mean, if he plays Carroll instead of Danny won't even bother watching the match. Too much politics for me.

I thought Torres' miss chance was very close, much better compared with Balotelli's. Buffon is probably the best goalkeeper of the tournament so far and his timing was perfect. Torres was only a split second late which is not far from his best. He only need a goal to come back so don't write him off yet, unfortunately.
Your right he's totally sucked for 2 and a half years but 1 goal and he'll be back to his best.
You confused me there for a second Tommy until i seen the sarcasm. lol

I feel he's almost there. He gets into some great positions to score, but then fluffs the chance!

He's definitely getting there, wouldn't be surprised if he knocks in a 3-4 this tournament.
I would. He's a spent force, had two clear cut chances today and fluffed them both.
the second wasn't clear cut and in both chances he made 2 great runs and one nice dribble past defender to get himself into those positions. before he came on spain didn't create half as many chances as when he came on. I think he'll score a few.
Respect your opinion but don't agree. The first chance he had was almost a carbon copy of the final 4 years ago when he scored but this time he wanted to round the keeper and he never looked like he was going to score. The second he was 20 yards out with the keeper way off his line and he had time, he hits the target he scores or he had the chance to play it out wide (can't remember the player) who would of been left with an open net.

For me Del Bosque made a mistake with his line up. Italy were playing with a make shift back four and Spain started playing without a centre forward, Italy have lost their last 3 games without scoring, Spain should have went for the jugular.

I think Del Bosque has the SAF syndrome were he sometimes plays players for sentiment, Lllorente had a much better season than Torres has a lot more confidence and scored a lot more goals, RDM wouldn't even let Torres take a penalty in the CL final, why would that be?

I tell you what, if Torres scores 4 goals in this tournament i'll stay off the forum for 2 months, That's how confident i am.

I wouldn't call it bad luck, I'd call it being useless.
