I would. He's a spent force, had two clear cut chances today and fluffed them both.
the second wasn't clear cut and in both chances he made 2 great runs and one nice dribble past defender to get himself into those positions. before he came on spain didn't create half as many chances as when he came on. I think he'll score a few.
Respect your opinion but don't agree. The first chance he had was almost a carbon copy of the final 4 years ago when he scored but this time he wanted to round the keeper and he never looked like he was going to score. The second he was 20 yards out with the keeper way off his line and he had time, he hits the target he scores or he had the chance to play it out wide (can't remember the player) who would of been left with an open net.
For me Del Bosque made a mistake with his line up. Italy were playing with a make shift back four and Spain started playing without a centre forward, Italy have lost their last 3 games without scoring, Spain should have went for the jugular.
I think Del Bosque has the SAF syndrome were he sometimes plays players for sentiment, Lllorente had a much better season than Torres has a lot more confidence and scored a lot more goals, RDM wouldn't even let Torres take a penalty in the CL final, why would that be?
I tell you what, if Torres scores 4 goals in this tournament i'll stay off the forum for 2 months, That's how confident i am.
