In case you hadnt noticed we're already in debt ........hence why we dont have the money Gill always harps on about

Of course we have funds,we are the biggest club in the world so it would be weird if we didnt have any millions to burn every summer.We earn huge cash every year by just being in the title race throughout the season and in CL.

But we dont have enough funds,thats the problem.And we dont have enough because the glazers takes money out of this club every year,we have to pay debt every year with money we could have spent on top quality signings.We have funds for cheap players but not funds for top quality.Gill can say whatever he want but he doesnt fool anyone(exept for OP :p) We dont have the funds to sign really top quality players anymore.

Nothing surprising Gill same sh^t different toilet, running his mouth its simply a mental game for the fans, get your hopes up acquire the shirts, season ticket etc. "bringing in this name and that" . he should do all the talking once the signing has finalized

I'm fairly sure the money we've already said to have spent and the fact we were willing to pay £32 million for Eden Hazard, proves we really do have money to spend, the transfer windows not even officially open and people are already getting hectic.

In the 7 years since the Galzers took over we have spent about 53 million (net), and the seven years prior to that we spent about £122 million (net) so something aint right.

We have been living off the previous investments prior to the Glazers taking over, and the products of the golden age of our youth system, these next 3-4 yesrs will be critical, it is highly likely within this time we will have no Ferdinand, no Giggs, no Scholes, and no Ferguson, who knows with current levels of investment where we'll be then.

We had the money for Rooney and we had the money for Berbatov but he was not worth 31 million even though I am a fan of Berbatov I do not think we need to spend 25-30 million for a player

No matter what we spend some posters will say we don't have enough money

He says this every summer. SAF usually follows it up with there not being value in the market. The team will spend but they will not be bringing in that marquee big money name. Kagawa was a great addition but if he was going for his true market value (ie not right before his contract was up and not after saying he wouldn't be staying) I don;t know if we pay the 25-30 million he would go for.
