Huntelaar isn't that good would hate to see him here he looked good in an average team (shalke) that's like saying lets get holt because he scored 16 goals this season
Are you *** kidding me? he scored 29 goals in 32 appearacnes & he plays in the 3rd best league. In all competitions he scored 48 goals in 47 appearences, but still you think he's average? SAF considered signing him but he moved to Madrid & we signed Berbatov instead. He's prolific.
Thing is though Taz as far as I see he is one of those players who suffers from big club syndrome, put big pressure of success and competition from other quality players on his shoulders and he'll flop.

Plus he isn't a quick player either so I don't think he could offer United anything tbh.

what lee said, he made no impact at Madrid or AC without doubt he's a good goal scorer but don't think he would cut it here. But that's just my opinion.
Fair enough. But I think he could've scored a lot of goals for Madrid or Milan if he had got proper support from the wingers. I'm not saying we should sign , we dont need a striker. I'm just saying he's a prolific goal scorer.

I think buying a foward with great heading ability and finishing would be beneficial . imagine the amount of goals we would score from crosses from young and valencia . a striker like Huntelaar/Lewandowski would be good

Re: Here come the Huntelaar rumours

I wonder if Huntelaar would be open to a move though or has he settled in Germany as a player. He definately had a rough patch in terms of getting playing time when he went to Real and then to Milan (if I remember right Milan was looking to sell him as soon as that first January after signing him). Now his scoring record was not horrible during that time but it was definately well off his pace. I wonder if he would really want to risk a move to anothe country and another league at this time. Of course complete guess work here, I have no way of knowing what he is thinking.

I do agree mate, everyone's entitled to there opinion and if they dont like him thats fair enough, my point with Huntelaar is although he is older then someone like Lewandowski we could still get three years out of him at less then half the price, he is a proven goalscorer maybe not in the Aguero mold or someone like that but he would be in the box to stick chances away and he'd get top service here too from the wingers,Kagawa, rooney etc, and Schalke would likely cut us a deal if Berba was included

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2159663/Klaas-Jan-Huntelaar-leave-Schalke-17m.html We get it every season so keeping up with tradition here are this years instalments. All jokes aside he wouldnt be a terrible addition especially if he could score for us like he has for Schalke and Ajax, even his Real record wasnt as bad as this article makes out 8 from 20 games isnt that appauling
I'd love to see him here he is pure quality but we out first prioirty should be a box to box midfielder & a left back.
