Nani has been amazing in the first half. His crosses to Ronaldo have been really good.

Facepalm. Get a 29 yo who has no intention of leaving Bayern? Imbecilic. Also why's everyone believing Nani's leaving? There's no concrete evidence of him leaving, just BS rumours imo.

Why do we have to sell to buy a player like Muniain? There was no talk of sales to fund Hazards transfer was there? 32m would be more than enough to tempt a club like Bilbao into selling. If any thing the only falling point would be that Muniain wouldnt want to join United, which I think would be the case tbh, he seems like one of those players whose proud to be in his home country and isnt interested in moving abroad. I think he'll join Barca along with Neymar in a season or two
lol great point it is also similair when all the goetze rumours were flying about people were like, we cant play him in his position, have to adapt blah blah, when hazard came along who plays in same position people didnt mention it or the fact about selling to buy, now we didnt get their precious hazard they talk about selling, muniain would be a great player, i see him being in the top 5 players in the world in a few years along with goetze hazard eriksen and oezil

Fantastic player, but if Nani was leaving a couple of things, firstly, id want ideally want £40-£60m for Nani in todays market. Secondly, if he was leaving I reckon we could use it as an advantage, if we are to play Rooney as the lone striker next season it could stop Welbeck's development, whereas if Nani left, Welbeck could get game time on both the left wing and the striker position. He's been played there numerous times before, and he's got the attributes; pace, link up play etc. However as for Munian, id love him here but could you see Fergie paying £30m for him? £30m for a unproven La Liga youngster? Thats why Id want £40-£60m for a world class champions league winning player like Nani.

Re: IF we sold nani the only player i would want to succeed is...

IF the club want to cash in on Nani then it will be for far more than £30million or it would make little sense, the only reason to sell now is to make big money whilst billionaire owners are still looking to make statements before FFP kicks in proper.

This is the reason United are not willing to sign new longterm deals on big wages with players like Nani because in a couple of seasons these silly big wages will be no more due to FFP. We saw this with City over the Hazard saga, even they realise it is foolish to continue offering too many players silly wages now as it will jeopardise the balance sheet.

There will still be clubs like PSG who are still to make their superstar signings to attract the attention they need but time is running out to do this now though IF United want to sell high with Nani this is the perfect time from a business point of view, of course on footballing reasons it is far more debatable.

MUNIAIN! Think about it IF we sold nani it would be for around £30milion. That money could easily get muniain who is destined for greatness. under fergies shoulder i believe he would be better than ronaldo! p.s. notice how i put 'IF' in capitals!
I dont want nani to leave but if he does then Muniain is the answer.

That depends on Iker Muniain and if he would like to join us. Maybe De Gea could talk him in to it. But another option is to replace Nani with James Rodriguez. He's probably more versitile than Muniain but not as hood but he is still great and would fill the gap of Nani

He's a good player will most probably be better than nani and more consistent but weather he could get to ronaldo or messi is different matter! I would go for him if nani go's but not sure he will
So why will he be better than Nani?

Can`t sell Nani? he`s 26 in his Prime and has realy shone for Portugal, the only he will go, is if he wants to and UTD sell him at a big price??? around the £30 million or keep him. He can`t be sold for less than this price sorry!!even if some fans don`t like him?
