This i do agree with, he will not want to sell his best player to a rival especially us, im sure Levy views us as getting weaker and teams like spurs are after over taking us, he will not want to strengthen us. i agree with you on the levy thing but IMO i think this story has come up because Tiago wants to leave. He is learning from the greatest CM in Xavi but isn't getting the game time he needs to grow

Barcelona are not signing any forwards. There new manger Tito vilanova has gone on record saying there will be no forward players going to the club this summer. They are in the market for a full back and a centre back. So. I wouldn't want Thiago over Modric. Modric can perform in the premier league and hes the superior of the two. I don't want United buying players that cant make it in the Barca. If we want to aim to be at Barca's level buy their subs wont do it. I understand they have a great team and that any midfielder in the world would struggle to break in to it!...i believe we are above that.

Modric would be the perfect fit, i reckon United should this one time pay the money and get the guy. If we were willing to pay 32 mil for Hazard surely 30 mil is a fair price for Modric.

In all fairness i'd imagine Barcelona are interested in many a good player, as are Madrid, United, Milan, Bayern etc and that's exactly what Modric is, a good player.

I want Thiago more than Modric but i dont think he would like to leave Barca.Besides,if we get him and he turns out worldclass ina couple of years,it wont be long before Barca wants him back and wont stop until they get him back.

Modric said it makes him happy to hear about the barca interest so i think we can forget about him and Thiago.

If Modric goes to Barcelona, they'll have to get rid of someone... Thiago maybe. But this is all wishful thinking.
