A lot has been made of Welbeck and rightly so as he's been an eye opener lately, but we're not seriously considering winning all 4 trophies by relying on a 21 year old Welbeck. If he will become our key player it won't be this season. He'll get enough games, don't worry. He's got years ahead of him.

Rooney on the left? NO.Its a total waste of a great player to have him out there.He should either be in the box or in the hole.I hope for Rooney up top with Kagawa in the hole.Push Welbeck out wide instead,he has played alot on the right and can be back up for Valencia there.

yeh i agree in europe i think we will play our best team which will be kagawa behind rooney, but in majority of prem we will see rooney off the striker with rotation with wingers and kagawa etc, with welbeck/hernandez up top. lots of options with the 1 transfer its a very good signing both skillfully and tactically sound in many formations

at times Wellbeck can play upfront and Rooney on the left coming inside as he done so effectively 4-5 years ago and with Kagawa in the hole, also in all matches that arent against the top six we can play 2 upfront again so Chicharito and Wellbeck can get games, but the sooner we get some sort of fluid 4-3-3 going the better, Wellbecks growth is important and i think its coming along just fine but your main priority should be whats best for Man United to win and in my opinion, no team that plays the outdated 4-4-2 will win the champions league for the foreseeable future in this new generation of technical quality.

If you have not..erh..notice we have signed kagawa. Who based on formation I have seen on this forum and others is already stunning Welbeck growth lol. To make it clear, the majority is suggusting Rooney plays as the lone striker, while kagawa, Nani, and Valencia or young plays behind him.

Anyway, whatev, I believe what first poster is suggusting is the unnecessary need for a playmaker like Modric, Cabeye, Sahin, etc. in the central of ...erh...midfield. I may be wrong though, and op is not as stagnent as his post appears and is actually refering to a am similar to Kagawa not Modric(cm). If that is the...erh...case, of course we will not sign another am, as we have already signed a prospect in Powell in that position and any other addition in that am position will be...erh... idiotic.
