    Re: guardiola going to munich

thereality. You probably wont like my reasons but here goes.Sir Alex is very loyal and deserves to be travelling the world as an Ambassador ie as Pele does as elder statesman. But my main reason is I think he has lost a lot of his zing last season, there are a number of instances which bothered me from the Liverpool game onwards a goodly number but it's not my intention to be controversial so I will leave it at that.Could be that I really should have your moniker anyway it's just my opinion.

I,personally hope Sir Alec does step down before the season starts and we get Guardiola to take over seamlessly
Out of curiousity why such a lack of loyalty to someone who has been extremely successful and loyal to the club?
Probably more so to do with the fact that a manager of Guardiola's potential and stature(arguably of course) isnt available every day and well lets face it, SIr Alex isnt going to be around for ever.
So essentially, "Sorry Sir Alex, you can still do the job and you have done great things for us but loyalty means nothing because we want the shiny new guy" fair enough.

EDIT: Turns out we were wrong manu wr10, he just wants him out because we did not win a trophy last season.

Wouldnt you rather have mourinho who has proven himself around the world rather then a manager who has been at just 1 club? Say barca didnt have Messi, would you still want pep as the manager?
I dont want either, the special one is a w@nker and pep would want to turn us into barca 2.0
Because thats a bad thing? last time i checked they have beaten us the last 2 times quite comfortably

Pep has never had to build a team
Few have done this successfully, and no-one has,can or ever will do it as well as our great SAF. jose built one at chelsea in 04 with rediculous amounts of money - i mean 20 million for paulo ferraira - your 'avin a laugh!! so i think its unfair to judge him by that, a lot of people would like to see Ole in charge, but what team has he built?
Don´t forget Sir Matt but I know what you are saying. Ole has had a degree of success and has improved Molde since his arrival. He also did quite well with the United reserves before he left.

Also the ibrahimovic disastor, what a waste of money
It happens. Look at Berbatov and who signed him? They are both great players who didn´t fit the system.

I would hate to have Pep here. I admire what he has done with Barca but let's face it he inherited a team he already knew very well and was already built for success. His transfers haven't impressed me either as he continually neglects his defence in favour of forwards who may not even get a game eg. fabregas. Also the ibrahimovic disastor, what a waste of money

Yeah because that original Barca team was utter $hi.te weren't they? Tbh dont think too many fans would complain if we got even half the success Barca did under Pep. He was an underdog going into that job and look what he did, how do we know if he would instantly fail at our club??!!
There are skeptics all over so I´m sure there would be people who would question Peps readiness.

Pep Guardiola has spent his whole career at Barca both as a player and coach He spent 2 years coaching Barca B who play exactly the same style as the first team. So he was familliar with many of the players before he accepted the first team job. I believe all of that played a major part in his success at Barca.

Would he be successful at United???? There are a lot of people on here who like to use the phrase ´they were successful in spite of not because of´ in the case of Peps time at Barca I think that phrase applies.

Pep has never had to build a team and I think given the outcome of this season given the talent at his disposal you have to question his ability.

I hope Pep does go to Bayern, and I hope Blanc goes to Tottenham. It would give us a good indication of whether they can hack it in competitive leagues before SAF retires in 2-3 years. Because at the present moment the only manager I would feel confident with in keeping us competitive is sir Jose. Ole should be looking for work in a competitive league as well because if he could prove his metal in a top league he'd be a great shout for the next United manager

The mere thought of Mike Phelan or Giggs being manager in 2 years time gives me chills - mid table mediocrity here we come.

Mourinho, Guardiola, Blanc, Ole and Jurgen Klopp. Best five candidates by a mile, at least in the present moment.
