bad defending costed them, but more than anything the manager started with the wrong first 11!
Their defence truly is shocking, poor Willems is getting all the blame but he's just a kid. That said, their midfield and attack weren't any better, and they didn't have better choices in the squad (maybe apart from Strootman who should have started ahead of De Jong).
Defending isn't just about the four blokes at the back and the GK. When you've got 4-5 egoistic lazy bald wan/kers up front then you're never going to have a proper team.

Funnily enough, Robben, Sneijder Huntelaar and VDV have all been Fergies "mistakes" over the last 5 years.
    City bought the title
City have ruined football with the money
    City are the devil

We need to buy Falcao Lucas and Modric though

They totally under performed in the Euros which was a huge shock as on paper they had a very good squad.

Basically most of the current Dutch side are wankers, which is a tad weird considering the Dutch are a lovely nation.

    Re: Sneijder's Comments

Even if tactics were given away, it doesnt really mean a thing when the whistle is blown, you could give away barcelona's tactics before a game but everybody would've already know, & plus managers dont play the same way for 90 minutes unless they are dominating, the netherlands never really dominated, Willems was a serious weakness & Robben is a greedy one footed bald troll, RVP was misfiring & Huntelaar had a mean mug on him like he was mad about being benched, so either way the netherlands we a sinking ship. Thinking about sneijder though i don't want him, lack depth in certain parts of our squad, i dont see how adding an overpaid very talented but slightly inconsistent star to the squad would help, we should be adding HUNGRY consistent players to the team, if there's one thing we've lacked it's force & intimidation, buy a tough guy, A player who can bring that flair & versatility to our midfield like Kevin Prince boateng brought to that aging Milan midfield, a box to box player, a yaya toure, Dembele from fulham has some impressive stats & i dont see him costing more than 20m, sign him up

Basically he has stated that a Dutch player has been giving away match tactics before the game. I really don't believe that would cause the lacklustre performances of some of their players, and frankly it's a very irresposible thing to have done. I'm not sure how much of the Goal.com article is hearsay, but I really object to Sneijder making such shocking comments (whether they're true or not) where they can be reported on by the media. Whether there really is a 'mole' in the Dutch squad, the fact that it's become public knowledge will undoubtedly cause strife in the team. Regardless of how much I love Sneijder (well, the one from last season), I am quite happy if he doesn't end up here, causing the same issues at United.
Dont worry mate hes not coming here.I cant see us going for him not what he earns and what he would cost etc.We wanted him last season didnt happen i really cant see him coming here now.
