this thread should be called Sneijder the most underrated overpriced injury prone unrealistic wages player to walk this earth then I'm sure i will see a lot of happy people agreeing to that :|
There is only one poster here who even came close to saying ALL of that.
    Underrated AND overpriced. Interesting.

I don't think he is underrated, most football fans regard him as one of the talented players in the world of football.

I don't think anyone is doubting his talents to be fair just that he isn't needed anymore so there is no point on bringing him in.

Modric is definitely looking unlikely and if United were willing to offer around £20-25m, they should offer Inter Milan £16-£20m and cough up £180k wages, he should drop down a little, whats the point of going to City to earn £250k wages only to sit on the bench, its so obvious anyone going to City cannot be guaranteed a starting place because their team is already packed with super stars.
Sneijder plays in the no.10 role, we already have Rooney and have just signed Kagawa so where would he play?
B*ll*cks course he could play deeper, he was playing on the left for holland ffs. These are pro footballers, I dont think hel forget how to kick a ball bcos hes 15yards deeper. Some fans talk utter rubbish. Think he would shine if he came, pity hes a greedy ****, world class player tho!!

Sneijder is class and way above most of the Man United midfield, Anderson, had enough of him, Fletcher he is not coming back that is unfortunate for him, Carrick, waste of £18m, Park ji sun who sometimes was deployed in midfield role, Bebe worst of the lot, the only midfielders i regard highly in the United team currently are Cleverly (for a month) Giggs who is coming up to 39 years old, Valencia, Nani, Young, Scholes who will play a part role coming up to 38 years old. people are complaining about player wages, and where he will play, bla bla bla seriously you lot need to get over yourself, the question is would you have him for £18m, i haven't said lets go for him or he will be signing for us, some people obviously would love to have Sneijder here to £18m, and then there are others who have serious issues with it, i don't care where he will play so long as he is on front of all the other players mentioned, Kagawa is a very good signing that will give our midfield more creativity, but United will be signing another midfield player either to replace Scholes and Giggs as long term, and Pogba, Fletcher, short term
So whats the point of signing him if he won't play? He would be competing with Rooney and Kagawa, sorry but I don't fancy his chances.

I prefer Modric and fit Anderson to Sneijder. I was excited last season when we were linked with him but not anymore. He is expensive, overpriced and injury-prone.

We no longer need Sneijder, or any other cam type of player. Kagawa is just exactly what we missed, and he will become a world-class player at OT.

What does City have to do with this thread? While you feel he should drop down a bit, that of course doesn't have anything to do with whether he will or not. People on this forum are full of what they think players SHOULD do, but being human beings the players of course have their own idea of what is or is not right for them. His wage demands last season had to do with what he and his agent wanted.
Looks to me as if he has a soft spot for City.
