This is just Fantasy so don't take it to real but if you could have 2 combination of players that either play for the same club or play in the same national team which combination would you choose and for what reasons? here are a few that come to mind, as you can see haven't included any defenders but any combination any players, i know some of the players I've mentioned are no way realisitc but these are just guide lines

if i had to choose from the combo's you have mentioned it would be Sneijder and Van Persie without a doubt

Not that they've played together but a midfield duo of Nuri Sahin and Thiago Alcantara would be awesome

Xavi and Iniesta might be worth a shot. Hear they can play a bit.

A new tack from me the perfect signings would be maggio and de rossi. De Rossi is exactly the type of midfield destroyer we need. Vastly experienced Can tackle intercept pass and has a good accurate long range strike. Also maggio would definitely provide cover and competition for rafa at right back who also provides width strength and desire to get forward but can also track back and defend well. Both would be great signings imo as they both can be used in different positions and would allow both smalling and jones to grow into their destiny as the future england and united central defenders

Rather then Lewandowski i would sign Rodriguez who can play in central midfield out wide or behind the strikers.Keep Nani.Sign Baines and sign a good midfielder like Moutinho De Rossi etc then our squad will be sorted.
