Why don't we just buy Diarra and Nuri Sahin since we already have Cleverly and Kagawada for advanced midfield roles? They will cost us around 20-22 million pounds(combine). Plus if we can ship out Berbatov, Anderson and Park for the same amount, we can have a much better squad with reduced average age for next season. Some may argue that we need another striker but we already have three renowned strikers and we will be playing most of the matches with one striker up front next season. So we can easily do it with three strikers. If we can keep hold of Fryers, than there will be no need of a new left back also. That means our net spending will be around 16 million pounds and we would have solved the midfield problems by adding a defensive midfielder, a deep lying playmaker and an attaking midfielder in the ranks.

While everyone else is to busy ripping apart previous suggestions and not having the balls to come up with their own suggestion I have decided to come up with my own alternative suggestions which I believe are more realistic. I reckon that Nath Clyne as a back up to Evra would have been a great signing as I believe we will be short in this area with fabio off on loan, De Laet not up to standard, but i think we would have done the buisness already if we were going to sign him, so to be honest I think fergie doesn't see this as a priority right now. What I do think is a priority is to bring in a defensive midfielder to play in the champions league games because last season we were so poor the central midfield especially in europe, so I reckon we focus are efforts on someone like benfica's Javi Martinez or Rennes Yann M'Villa I believe we could sign either of these two players for about £20million, which won't be breaking the bank. I think we could even use Anderson as a make weight in a deal for either play. Also we need to sell Berbatov, De Laet, Anderson and Park. If we do need a replacement for Berbatov which I don't think we do as I think we have plenty of attacking options, I would wait until Januray to see if Welbeck, Hernandez and Macheda have been getting us enough goals to compete as to whether we need to sign another striker. If we do because we are short of scoring ability we should consider players like Huntelaar or Lewandowski.

ok i'm guessing that you meant one of Tiago/ganso/Marchisio.. even so they'd cost around £25million, Ganso cant defend and is slow, tiago may do a fabregas and Marchisio i do like... Munian would use up the Nani funds straight away... Falcao just joined Athletico for around 40million so we'd have to pay more than that + a left back... all together your talking £80million.. plus kagawa and powell bringing that to 100million....... slightly unrealistic

Heres what I think 1. Modric saga: I agree we don't need him.

2. Thiago will not happen, Ganso and Marchiriso are good shouts.

3. Nani saga will play itself out and the manager will take necessary action if he feels a player is taking the mickey out of the club.

4. Dede has stated he wants to remain with the club, we have more important positions to fill before splashing out on a CB.

5. Falcao wouldn't suit united as we have Rooney and would cost way too much. A player like Higuain or Hamšík would cost far less.

6. Agree Baines is not United quality, I rather stick with Patrice and Fryers and save the money.

Ridiculous idiotic post. we bought nani when he 20. we've trained him, helped hin grow into the good player that he is. yes he's a little inconsistent at times but someone please tell me what players who play in those wide positions are not a little inconsistent? that's the nature of the attacking positions, you will make mistakes trying to create. nani got 17 or so assists ladt season and the season before 19 which i think was the most in the premier league, where as bale who won pfa player of the year had about 1 or something.
