From what i was told by a usually quite reliable source, the deal is done, its not been announced because it will be going to tribunal as United and Palace could not agree a compensation package, United wanted to pay just over £1m and Palace wanted £5m, he will sign and then a tribunal will probably make United pay around £2-3m, its a similar situation with Pogba and Juventus, although United will get nowhere near that price, they will get closer to £500-600k for Pogba.
Pogba is a lot better than Clyne and is a better talent, why can't we get more from Juventus than Palace will get for Clyne?
Because Clyne is a first team regular at Palace, Pogba isn't here.

I think Newcastle are interested, and I have a feeling he'll end up there, as he's more likely to break into the first team there.

Good question, we tried to sign him in Jan but he said he wanted to stay till the end of the season... But the fact it's gone quiet is a good sign; 90% of our deals are done in private. My guess? There will be little links until the medical is booked and the fee is agreed.
THIS. should answer a lot of questions...

I hope you're right. But I've a gut feeling that our interest in Clyne has cooled down.
