greatdane0:Pirlo is world class. Clearly. Schoels is wolrd class. clearly....but having to 33+ players running around is not sustainable. 5 years ago i would have given my left..leg..for such a midfield but not now. That being said he completely dominated the game, I mean he saw things that none of the rest of us could see, kinda like scholesy. England was outplayed fair and square unfortunately and did all they could with the assets they had at the time. I would like to see a new generation of players come through...jones, smalling, cleverley, wilshere, welbeck, mcechran (can never remember how to spell that chelsea lads name) etc.
kanina:I am sure most of us watched England vs Italy last night. There is only a word to describe that game, Pirlo. I don't even know how to describe him anymore. I know Iniesta and Xavi are very good players. But Pirlo makes me feel that they are overrated. Sign him up, Fergie. I hope to see Pirlo and Scholes playing alongside in our midfield. PS I am not criticising Iniesta and Xavi, i am just using them to describe how phenomenal Pirlo is.
Only seen similar from Zidane in the past.
mb28mbrook:yeah that's a great idea, play 2 CM's who are "getting on a bit", don't run much, mainly sit back making long passes, aren't too good defensively... *please note the sarcasm*
