I agree except I don't think Bayern will sell him if you don't come up with 30 Millions+. They dont need the money desperately and good lb's are very rare. This Boy is a future star player and the only way he might leave are personal reasons but i highly doubt it.

Havent seen too much of David Alaba to judge, with Jordi Alba, he hasn't been as great going forward in the euros as i thought he would be, however defensively hes been better than i expected.

I would pick Jordi Alba any day of the week. Jordi Alba is better. It's not sure Valencia would let him go to Barcelona now when Barcelona have raid Valencias youth academy. They are a bit upset with Barca... United might have a chance to go in and swoop Alba in front of Barcelonas noses.

If I had to choose between these 2 then I'd pick Alaba.

i really dont rate Jordi Alba as a defender at all, if Evra came on the market Barca would soon drop there intrest in Alba put it that way, Baines is a better option but £20 million is unrealistic

Depends what you want and what team, for barcelona alba would be fantastic as he is quick and is very attacking, while they dont really need someone who is that defensive at the back he can sometimes get back and do a job but with barcelona have 60-70+% possession each game they love attacking fullbacks. If he was to come to manchester united he wouldnt really fit with our style of play, he gets forward and contributes but we dont keep the ball aswell and we would get slaughtered down the left. in my opinion if we were to have him in our team. I think alaba is more our type of player and is very versatile but like you said, why would he want to leave bayern.
