While i agree that the likes of Petrucci Tunnicliffe etc are brilliant talents they are still too inexperienced to play regular.I hope these 2 players get promoted to the first team squad but we cant relie on them just yet.They need a season long loan out espeically Petrucci.I can see Tunnicliffe staying put and making a break through into the first team next season.We still need a top CM and LB to be honest.

yes we have graet players in youth or reserve squad, but Barcelona has also and they keep buying players... Alcantara is there and they bought Fabregas, Cuenca is there and they bought Sanchez... So why we dont need to sign players? especially CM? Yes there is great future in our squad but Scholes is 37, Giggs 38, Carrick is allmost 31 (28 July his Birthday). I dont agree that we dont need CM, SAF is waiting to see how team will play on tour and make decision what we need and what we dont... But if u want those talents to become great palyers we sure need some great CM now.

Brilliant post , Volcom. I agree that Tunnicliffe , Petrucci , Pereira , Daehli are all brilliant players. But they're just too inexperienced. They need a year or 2 first team football , then they'll be great. I have high expectation from these lads & I hope they dont let us down. They're the one for the future but we need improvement at the moment. We can't afford to wait 2-3 years for them.

Nice post. These players are the future...but we need to be affecting the now. We were vulnerable to well drilled teams last season. Its important still IMO to add to our squad depth and be looking to support the ageing players at the club...they need help now.

PS. Ryan Tunnicliffe and Cleverly will play a big part in the coming season if we fail to add quality in the DM, CM positions.

Over the years in transfer windows 90% of people here say we need to sign a cm, we need a dm etc etc. Yet the trophies keep coming. We need to spend 40 million on a player or we have NO money nor can we compete, that players dont prefer us anymore...........yet Kagawa an undoubtedly 30million plus player had it not been for his contract, signed for us........ i have watched kagawa for 2 full seasons. and admittedly, it wasnt him that first got me watching dortmund.........but gotze, one of my fav players.

Kagawa is now with us and having seen him play so much, im over the moon. fantastic player and we now have the best dribbler in our squad in him. no doubt!. hes extremely agile and fast as well.

we have always brought in young unknowns and turned them into something special, with admitedly the odd luxury buy (veron berba). Truth is, this club is not stupid. We will buy a player if we think he is worth it and that is that. And im proud of that..........we dont throw money like chelsea and city. its one of the things that makes us better than them and why im a proud fan. the younger fans here will eventually mature and realise this.

the reason why()% on here call for big cm signings is because this 90% do NOT realise the talent within our reserve and youth system.

The main reason i feel that sir alex hasnt seen the utmost urge to spend on cms and dms.......like 90% on here is because of 5 guys we have growing at this club. UNFORTUNATELY soon to be 4 guys.

Paul pogba set to leave for a four year 20k deal at a corupt club and league where he wont become the player he should become. sad, but annoying as he looke dhappy here when he played and a real talent. pity.

Petrucci, ah a player that was a cam and has been effectively turned into a box to box player, and wow the talent is breath taking. looks set to be a big part of our future. im hoping to see him for the first team this season coming......i hope he gets on the ttour squad.

Tunnicliffe........another fantastic talent. whats the point in buying a cm or dm when its going to limit this kids potential......

Pereira.......WOW.......we dont often see such talented players at such at good level...at such a young age. we are lucky to have him. mark my words. cant wait to see him playing for our club.

last but certainly the most! is the one im most excited about. young Mats Moller Daehli..........just fantastic......"Manchester United signing Mats Moller Daehli is the most naturally gifted player to hail from Norway since Steffen Iversen, according to a leading European talent-spotter.".....i cant pinpoint who he reminds me of. a bit like gotze.....a bit like iniesta.....but also something extra like scholes.....his awarness seems to set him apart.......and his skill is breathtaking. WE ARE LUCKY TO HAVE HIM. and im very happy and grateful. Going to be one of the best midfielders in europe without question. i hope he has a personality like petrucci and not pogba morrison and fryers......the trio who think they are the big men because they turned us down. regret it for their lives when they mature.

these lads, are a reason why sir alex does not have to panic buy like you lot want.

why buy more top cms and dms........when we have these guys.

LET ME STRESS A VALUABLE POINT. - IF .........IF we had done in the past what 90% of you want now...........Beckham, Scholes and Giggs.....would not have been.

Sir Alex will make sure these guys are given there chance and my god is it any wonder.

And then theres one that will hopefully, finally, (injury please stay away this time) get to prove he has what it takes to be world class..........Tom Cleverley showed last seaosn when he had the chance that he was the best passer and mover in our squad........I HAVE NEVER seen a united player pass and move into space/ move forward instinctively and immediately with such consistency since scholes..........he got us ticking last season. he gets the ball and knows what he wants to do with it straight away, and once that pass is made, you watch him.........because hes off, to somewhere else on the pitch with space......a CLEVER magician.....as he pops up everywhere spraying and 1-2ing everywhere. AGAIN......next time you see him, watch this and you will notice it.
