Re: This is not a good sign!!!

Many players who perform for their clubs don't perform the same way for their countries anyway. You can't do a 1 to 1 comparison with nations and clubs.

Its a bit fickle having Ibrahimovic in there. Welbeck had a better tournament than him imo.

Am not worried because they always perform for our great club but its just not good that a great club like manchester united do not get a single player in the 23 man squad. but evryones right aslong as they perform for us. and what did cappello say ''wayne rooney only speaks scottish''

Since 2000 Man Utd have only had 1 player (Ronaldo 04) in the final of the Euro's or the world cup (Barthez had not yet signed in '00) and we have gone alright.
I agree. I dont take what players do for country as a guide to how good they are

ron'n'roo r kumin to get you:
In the Euro 2012 final not one Manchester United player in any of the two squads. A Liverpool player, Two Chelski players (both scored in the final), and a couple City players one who also scored in the final. Also there was no Manchester United player in the best Euro 2012 23 man squad. The UEFA Team of Euro 2012 - 23-man squad Goalkeepers: Gianluigi Buffon (Italy), Iker Casillas (Spain), Manuel Neuer (Germany) Defenders: Gerard Pique (Spain), Fabio Coentrao (Portugal), Philipp Lahm (Germany), Sergio Ramos (Spain), Pepe (Portugal), Jordi Alba (Spain) Midfielders: Daniele De Rossi (Italy), Steven Gerrard (England). Xavi (Spain), Andres Iniesta (Spain). Sami Khedira (Germany), Sergio Busquets (Spain), Mesut Ozil (Germany), Andrea Pirlo (Italy), Xabi Alonso (Spain), David Silva (Spain), Cesc Fabregas (Spain) Forwards: Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal), Mario Balotelli (Italy), Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Sweden)
IMO I wouldn't read to much into this. For me it's not how they play for country but how they play for club that counts
