Re: Fabio joins QPR on loan

What an absolute joke, the way that QPR folded then passed the ball to City when they knew that they where safe was a joke, so what do United told loan them a player. I really hope that they go down. I hate QPR more than City!! Esp since they had a good celebration with the City players at the final whistle.

Good move hopefully won`t turn out like Macheda's spell there...Baines next http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/premier-league/2012/07/02/3215973/breaking-news-manchester-united-full-back-fabio-joins-qpr-on Quotes from QPR and Fabio:"I want to play as many games as possible here. I want to play well and win games as well. "It's a good move for my career and for my confidence. Sir Alex Ferguson said that I'd enjoy it here and told me to play as many games as I can. "I know that QPR is a club with great history. I read about the history and that's why I'm here. "I also came here because I'm ambitious. I want to help QPR progress up the Premier League. Hopefully the fans will enjoy watching me in action, because I'll do my best." QPR manager Mark Hughes was also delighted with the arrangement, as he feels his side have snapped up a talented player who will earn valuable experience before returning to Old Trafford. "It's a great opportunity for us to loan a good, young player, who has decent experience of playing for a top club like Manchester United," said Hughes. "He's played a lot of senior games for United, so it shows the quality he's got. I know they think very highly of him and we believe he has all the attributes to be a success here next season.
I hope Sparky gives him some games.

I bet you all know what this means right? Everton has agreed to sell Baines to Man Utd cause SAF wnt loan Fabio if he doesnt have a Left Back Cover .. this obviously means Baines is heading to Old Trafford People!! ... and then Later we will buy Strootman Modric or Martinez.. all our signings will be made before Uniteds Tour Starts so the new signings have plenty of time to adjust to United Lifestyle and Play.

For us to send Fabio on loan we must be pretty confident of who we are signing at left back (seems very likely to be Baines). I think it would've been too big a risk to send him away leaving us with no cover for Evra at left back, unless we had a replacement pretty close.

Yep his development needs to pick up as soon as possible as it has been going at a slow pace and well I am sure QPR once had Taiwo who once never made it?
    Taiwo was on loan
    So is Fabio...
I know, not sure what your point is mate? Taiwo gone back to Milan now so they are in need of a LB.

Wasn't sure what you were meaning in your previous post by 'Taiwo who once never made it?'

Sorry mate was not thinking before I posted,I was meant to say "Taiwo never set Loftus Road alight although he was pretty decent and he was a Hughes signing also QPR never had one decent left back so you never know the same could reoccur with Fabio, hopefully not"

Problem with loans is that players have to settle in etc then move on and it can be hard, players adapt differently, Fabio should be used to the PL by now so shouldn't have too many problems, is it a season long loan btw if it is then again it should give him longer to settle if he has problems. Well Taiwo joined in late Jan and started 13 matches of a possible 16 so Fabio is highly likely to get games. Fabio could also play on the right so again looking good in terms of the amount of games he should get.

Hopefully Fabio works hard in training, keeps fit and impresses. He should be fine.

He should do,he is very keen, passionate footballer and a good lad which is always good for younger players. He has a bright future here at United if he can speed up his progress hopefully.

Hughes wants Fabio there, so likely to get games.

Obviously it was Warnock who wanted Macheda and not Hughes. Hughes then went on to sign a couple of strikers of his own choice (Zamora & Cisse) so Macheda never really stood much of a chance, unfortuanely.

This and isnt Luke Young leaving QPR and isnt there questiomarks over the dude they got from Arsenal too? So there seems to be enough room for him.

Hope it works out for fabio and can stay injury free during his spell at QPR. Hope this doesn't mean we fork out 15 million plus ridiculous wages on the overhyped mediocre baines, who has suddenly turned into one of the best left backs in the world (who is going to force evra out of the team) since we've become interested,

I could think of a few clubs that would have been better for him than qpr but aslong as he gets games then i cannot complain. I dont rate hughes that much as a coach either to be fair, much rather someone like david moyes or maybe martin o'neill at sunderland could have been a better option but like i said the experience he will gave will only be a good thing.
Yep would have preferred those two or even Benfica myself considering they hardly played Taiwo who is a decent left back and he was on loan as well.
