    Re: Macheda?

Since Macheda burst onto the scene with his wonder goal things havent progressed aswell as we would have hoped as hes had 2 very bad loan spells none fault of his though that has slowed him down abit progression wise but all in all Macheda is a brilliant talent i rate him very highly he has a great attitude he loves being here he just admitted that and to be honest i would give him more first team games next season and i can see SAF doing just that.SAF rates him very highly he can score goals and i think him staying here getting more games and developing he will be an outstanding player no way would i sell him.People still forget that hes only 20 years old he has his whole career ahead of him.If he had gone to a club where he would have played regularly then we would have seen what he can do.

    Re: Macheda?

Time is on his side. The question is does he have the right attitude. Also because , he hasnt played a lot of games, you wont see too many big clubs going for him. So he really has to shine here or he will be forced to play in a lower league team.

    Re: Macheda?

The thing is he should be pushing himself and proving himself in training at any club despite any change in manager and this notion that a manager is going to come in and say, "Well he's really impressive but I'll use someone less talented instead..." seems a bit odd to me, if he was proving himself he would be chosen.

By all means let's hope someone like Everton will take him and play him, in fact anyone who actually needs a striker who the manager trusts and see what happens but I refuse to go along with the one goal years ago makes him a world-beater theory.

With Welbeck, Rooney and Owen not going on tour this year, I believe he will get a little more game time. I think he has the ability and skills just not the confidence. I hope he gets more football this season.

I think thats the other way round, he hasnt had any sort of chances while being on loan, he went to QPR last season and then neil warnock got sacked and was overlooked by hughes. You cant blame him for that and if he does end up parting ways in the future i feel he hasnt done to much wrong, he was never going to get playing time here at such a young age and his loan clubs have let him down. This year could be his year or it could turn out to be the last nail in the coffin for his time with us, thats how i feel anyways but he has tons of talent and confidence.
But didn't he get a few chances whilst on loan in ITALY with Sampdoria, i believe. He hasn't really pressed on at all.
According to wiki he had 14 for sampdoria but i think a simular thing happened there with the managers, one got sacked that brought him in and then the new manager was reluctant to play him. 14 games isnt really going to see any progression i dont think, maybe 14 starts in a row and you may see some form but the impression i get what he was dropped often but im not to up to day with the situation at sampdoria while there.

    Re: Macheda?

Im not convinced of his talent. He needs to regular football at a PL team for us to see his potential. ATM he's just another ordinary young striker who's living on one moment of brilliance from 3-4 years ago...

The same person who broke the Park to QPR story before anybody else on Twitter (@steviebateman) has said Everton want Macheda on loan as part of the Baines deal. I trust him.

    Re: Macheda?

I thik a lot of people forget he is only 20 and players very rarely make their break through early here. I think he will go out on the right loan next year and somewhere like Wigan or Reading could be good for him.

that game was special, him and ron..he looked to be the next big thing,we loaned him out,i don't know how that went, wasn't into the league he played in.i think SIR is lookin the rite club to loan him, to devolep his ability, which is a good thing for him imo,i hope he matures into a great striker while still on are books, cause memories like the goal he scored in that villa game are special, well to me anyway...

    Macheda?

what do we all reckon will happen to Macheda hasnt really cut it anywhere hes been on loan. i remeber watching the villa game and from a lad just making his debut and scoring a goal like that and outsmarting a very talented centre half in richard dunne i thought he would become a good player. has he had one chance to many ?
