nemanja fikri:remember hodgson???....he do a great job as fulham
manager and tke fulham to final uefa cup.
Well First off Fulham are an established premier league club and had definitely more money to spend on players than Swansea and the focus that season was on Europa rather than the league. Thats beside the point because when he went to Liverpool he had no money to spend like Dalglish had. Fulham were a middle of the road team that were middle of the road in the league and had a good run in Europe like Middlesborogh. While Swansea were a newly promoted team with players from the 1st and 2nd division and made them a mid table team playing the football that only 2-3 teams in the top 4 could play.
nemanja fikri:remember dalgish???....he take blackburn to get the EPL title and when he take liverpool job....he make liverpool the worst achievement in 20 year by just 7th in the league
Dalglish won the league with buying the best players available in the mid nineties. His style of management hasn't changed as seen with the players he brought in with Henderson and Carroll.
nemanja fikri:remember AVB??? he do treble with porto and cannot make even 1 season at chelsea
Asked to clear out a squad that won the league 3 times. They Never played for him because of this. Judge him at Spurs.
nemanja fikri:there are so many great manager out there....but when they take big job they will expect to make that club become the best.
Given time, the finances and the control he needs he could very well become a success. His type of football gives him every chance of this seeing not many play the same style.
nemanja fikri:but if he take liverpool job, do you think he will get enough time to build great team???
What gives a manager time in a job is the fans backing, winning matches and winning trophies. The style of football he promotes is that of the style Liverpool would have played in the 80's. A passing game. The fans will enjoy playing creative attacking passing football. Winning matches will come from this style of football and winning it in an entertaining fashion will boost his chances of staying in the job further. From this he can compete for big trophies. What he achieved; playing wise with players from lower leagues was groundbreaking. Given the money for players he wants to bring in he can play the same game but with much more talented players. He can have Liverpool playing an amazing passing game that when is done well is impossible to live with. I forsee this and that could lead to a renaissance at Liverpool F.C. He needs the time and money to achieve this. Much the same the Fergie needed when he first came to Utd.
