Except in their Transfer Clockwatch section....which was the section I was talking about. It is not unusual this time of year for the various media websites to report what the others are saying. Just the other day a poster showed links to 3 or 4 stories about a transfer and it turned out that there was one story and the others were just using that one story as the source of their story. But they were still reporting it.

Yeh but then its not the most reliable section as they do state clearly in the early morning that they are doing a paper round up of whats being said, However they do usually only use their own articles for proper stories, so the last one properly on SSN was about us closing in on United and how there has been no request for a medical..

Appart from that the rest are rumours and unfortunate because SSN sum up the rumours, some people seem to think of it being a gospel.

Because they've gone from being certain we'd get him, only to hear completely contrasting reports. It's so easy to get engaged in sagas like this to such the extent that you're blinded by the fact you want it to happen, so don't properly assess the credibility of sources. As I've said throughout this entire saga, it's never been a certainty we had him until confirmation on here, that's why I was wary whilst others went nuts yesterday.

I blame fans like you. Always expecting. Theres nothing official either way.

Also Ancelotti has already been quoted saying PSG have finished there spending for the summer, and they are already at there squad maximum limit for non-Eu players

I'm ignoring Sky Sports from now on, first their story yesterday about them believing a fee had been agreed and he's gonna sign, now they're saying he's PSG bound. Only manutd.com and possibly BBC from now on for me. Sky are getting as bad as these ***rumour sites like goal.com and caughtoffside, I'm pretty sure that all their so called journalists do is read these sites and twitter to be honest.

Sky's always reported rumours, on their website they even used to rate what level they thought the rumour was (speculation,possibiity or done deal).

SSN to be fair havent reported the Lucas to PSG at all, all they have done is mentioned in the Transfer Clockwatch what L'Equipe has said, basically its their usual morning round up of "paper speculation" as they call it themselves.

They havent actually posted anything about it themselves
